--Suppose that you would develop gradually. Then your state could be a great state and then you had some country these were belong to you.
--You can get taxes from them, soldier, money, some resources. I mean that you can give them autonomy. Sometimes they would to be free against to you.
So that u send soldier to your autonomous states to put down that rebellion. I woud like to see this typical system in the Civ V
--However you can conquer any state altogether, so a menu should be what you will decide( to conquer or giving autonomy to them). After your conquest maybe these states can be democratic, fascist, liberal anyway that is their problem . Don't care it you only get your money, soldiers.
--On the other hand if any state conquer your state you can play till you bored. Because that state can give you the autonomy you and your state will live and then maybe you will be free again. Then you can conquer which state had conquered you
