    Missing music in title menu

Well, basically, the first couple of times I started my PC version of the game, the menu music was there, then it just disappeared. Running the game on Win XP SP2, have the low-fps issue in menus of course, but wonder why the menu music just went m.i.a. after a few sessions. Haven't changed any audio settings in-game or system-wise, rest of the sound and music is working fine...

    Show hidden files and folders,

    - In Windows XP: Click on the Tools menu then choose Folder Options.
    - In Windows Vista/7: click on the Organize menu and choose Folder and Search Options.
    - Click on the view tab.
    - Ensure "Show hidden files and folders" is selected in the list.
    - Press Apply then OK.

    Go to the following location:-

    XP - C:\Documents and Settings \"user name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Bioshock 2

    Vista / 7 - C:\Users\YOUR PC LOGIN\App Data\Roaming\Bioshock 2

Right click the clear space in this folder and select New, then Folder.

Move the contents of this folder to your new folder.

    Launch the game.

The folders contents will be re-created once the game launches.

What is your PC's specs/driver dates?

Well found the Bioshock2 folder in the Application data, but the one outside the Local settings folder (there's two App data folders, one under the User folder and one inside the Local settings under same user). Do I just drag and drop the whole BS2 folder into the New Folder or just copy the contents to it? Delete the ''old'' BS2 folder afterwards?

Anyway, the BS2 folder is recreated automatically after launching the game, but music is still missing.

Please try to enable Stereo mixing, to do this:-

browse to Start > Control Panel > Sound (in classic view).

    - Once done switch to the Recording tab which will show the currently active inputs on your system (e.g. Line in, Microphone).
    - Right click in the clear space below these devices and select the option for Show disabled devices. This should show an additional device called Stereo mixing.
    - Right click on this device and select Enable.
