He didn't actually die there, but he mistook the bathysphere for a bathyroom and people just assumed he died in there based on the smell.

Zoom......that was the sound of a joke going over your head.
If you're playing on PC, hit Home or the button that brings up Windows Live menu. Click on Setting on the right hand side. Click on Voice and there will be a Mute Microphone option next to Voice Recording Device.
He doesn't want to mute the mic, he wants to mute the game mic input. He is talking on Skype.

if they get annoyed enough they can just mute you, im pretty sure theres a mute option isnt there?
G4WL, go into Settings, then Voice, then select the Mute Microphone checkbox.
I don't think you can mute other players, you can only mute your own mic.
C'mon, we need a mute-feature for ingame.
I shouldn't need to mute my mic, as I too chat over TS/Skype/Ventrilo with friends while playing.
