A goal I wish the Civ V team to set, and some more minor requests

If you guys do nothing else, I want this to be your primary goal with the game.

Please make the AI good enough, so that 90% of players will find the AI very challenging on Noble difficulty. Have noble difficulty use zero AI cheats of any sort. Basically, I want the AI for Civ V to be at least on the level of Stardock games, such as Gal Civ 2.

The AI was the weakest point of Civ 4, and really the only major weak point to the game.

Other areas that I think need addressing from the previous version, but aren't as critical, or requests:

    64-bit support
no huge graphical upgrade- it's not needed, and will hog resources.
Air units/air combat. It needs to be done in a better fashion.
    Make multiplayer desync less
We need a wider variety of units, but a Wolfshanze-style mod solved that problem well enough in Civ 4.

I know I'm sounding critical, but you guys did a lot right with Civ 4, polishing that up further will make a great game greater. I really do want massive emphasis on the AI though- Stardock level AI would be awesome!

I think the guys here in the forum are already starting to get mad at me hitting the same key over and over again, but please:

•Create a Mac version that is adequately optimized for Grand Central and OpenCL.

Not only this will improve multi-core performance, but I read somewhere that there are some tasks that normally fall under the GPU that would be faster processed under the CPU and vice-versa. So, even more win

    well

i know many players played and loved this game on singleplayer.

i actually never really enjoyed playing against the ai, i guess partly cause of the ai beeing that bad, unless it cheats like 3 times your settlers and outproduces you like hell.

but i enjoyed playing this game on multiplayer and i think its a shame that so many players never got to play this game seriously online.
go on a better gamesuplyplatform than gamespy, it really sux so hard.

get a decent multiplayer supporting system and a ingame ranking.
that would make a really great difference to civ4, which would completely change the gaming experience.

Please please please!!! I'm sure you've put in a lot of thought into what to, and to not put in this game ... but as Civ4 (yes even BtS) has so many OOS issues it's obviously not self-evident that in the 21st century, multiplayer games need to have strong multiplayer code. PLEASE don't give us a beautiful product (like Civ4) that we pull our hair out on because large games are replete with OOS errors.

Promise me this wont be an issue and I'll pre-buy four copies today!
