Frame-rate unlock question.

When you unlock the frame rate from the options menu it says the visual quality may suffer or something like that.

Is this true? cause i cant see any difference, it still looks beautiful, and mabye 1 or 2 screen tears.

But has any one noticed any REAL differences in the visuals? You see i just found this option and i am doing a scenic playthrough(Its basically where i playthrough the game and look at EVERY THING that's how beautiful this game is) and i don't want any of the visuals but i also want the frame rate to be smooth.

On the 360 it tears like hell.
On the PS3 you get alot of horrible judder and very sensitive controls.

Leaving it off is best, but as Digital Foundry found out about a week ago the PS3's framerate is definietly not as good as the 360's. Hoping for a fix.

Well i would just like to confirm that if you install the game onto the Hard drive(Xbox 360) it almost completely fixes the tearing as i have had mine installed from day one, and when i have had the frame rate option on it has teared maybe 2 times.

But i was wondering about any other visual downgrades excluding the tearing.

It only produces tearing, which personally I can't stand in any game, so I keep vsync on - personal preference.

Wow its been 3 years since the release i only just started playing the second game. People should be much more appreciative of the frame unlock option on the consoles. Installing it to hdd makes a good difference on the tearing if the others dont know about it.
