I pre-loaded bioshock from steam with the option ( PRE-LOAD NOW,PAY WHEN READY,PLAY WHEN RELEASED) but the pre-load seems to have gone from my steam games list it was there yesterday it said (PRE-LOADED UNRELEASED) and now that the game has been released i'm just wondering if i now purchase the game will i have to download it again or will it unlock the pre-load that has simple vanished,hope this makes sense and someone can shed some light.

Usually if you do not have the game bought after you pre-loaded and the gane is released the options disappear - I assume something is up at the moment.
If you navigate to your steamapps folder and bioshock is there then yet it will continue from where it left out.

Yeah cool! its there i have a bioshock folder and i also have a bioshock demo folder because i downloaded the demo from steam as well so i think that the folder titled bioshock would be the pre-load, i hope so anyway lol.

RGR. Mine disappeared as well. I purchased, and it started completing the download from 80%. Took about 15 minutes to download at 6:00pm (EST). Was up and running with the full game by 6:20.
I really do love Steam. They learned a lot from the HL2 launch, and I have never had a problem with the system since.
