    How to make good photos?

It seems that even when im making a close up of the enemy im still getting a B.
I got an A only one time, i dont remember how... i think it was a big daddy picture, though im not sure. [is there any way in game where i can see my photos progress & information?].

Do you guys have some tips on what makes a good photo?
    Thanks !

Yeah, use different weapons and plasmids on the target. And with targets with bigger health like Big Sisters, wait untill they are half HP before filming so you get the A-rate when they die. Thanks.

if you have bots around is much useful, just start the filming use a plasmid like incinerate.. then shot with any weapon you have while the bots are shoting too. you get up to 400 with splicers and more with brutes or BD , is easy to finish the research with splicers when you have LS geting adam... and you can check your progress in the Menu where you can see the map and audio diaries... in consoles you need to hit the "select" button (i don't know if that's the name anymore use to be in old 16, 8 bit consoles)

You're right Kurt on the 360 tho its the back button. That gives you the map and you cycle through the different panes till the end one which is research. Good tip on the big enemies btw Adam. I started filming the brute you have to do and ended up having to find another cause I ran out of film :S. The next one had a security bot with him, queue my first death of the game

Lets say i finished the game, and i didnt finished my research with the camera,
i wont be able to go back and continue the research, do i? [enemies wont spawn anymore.....]

Becouse if im not, it will be pretty hard to research everything untill the end of the game.
Ill need to kill with diffrent weapons and if ill fell, ill need to restart the save game again or look for another enemy, but looking for another enemy = progressing in the game = end. :\

Action, action, action! Make sure their is a complex battle happening on the subject. Either yu are fighting them, or they are fighting others, intercede and use different weapons and plasmids. You should be able to get lead head and thus splicers maxed out by Pauper's.

You'll get an A+ for killing a splicer with the electrobolt, while in water.

Sort of? You're not taking a still photo like in the original BioShock; you're doing research over the duration of the video recording. Thus, you don't get many points for just starting the research session - you get points by using varied and clever tactics while research is active. So if you died immediately, you wouldn't've had time to rack up a lot of points.

Believe it or not I've never had anything less than an A, the following will individually contribute towards your score:

direct damage plasmids ( electro bolt, incinerate, winter blast, insect swarm, telekinesis ect... ) symbolized by whatever element you are using

passive ( Hypnotize, security command, mini turrets, stationary turrets, bots ect...) symbolized by two angry faces

traps ( trap rivets, proximity grenades, trap spears, cyclone trap ) symbolized by a board on a spring

guns ( errrr... guns ) symbolized by a pistol

The drill- symbolized by a rudimentary cone

I've only played the game twice so constructive criticism is much appreciated.

The system also tracks and gives extra bonuses for some clever combinations - trapping a med station that hurts the research target as they run to use it, firing a heat-seeking rocket at a burning enemy, setting an enemy on fire and then shocking them when they run to water to extinguish themselves, using Decoy to lure them into damage, etc. The system aims to reward you for experimenting with the tools and using them in interesting ways.

Also, its always worth getting the Arms Race Tonic. Can be a bit tricky with Big Daddies. Eventually you may need to record the after harvesting every sister, and then fight them for research points.

I just realized in this new playthrough that research works with hacking as well (bots, cameras, turrets). Start filming something before you hack it, and upon successful hack you get research points.

Deadly Machines is actually pretty easy to get... any time a splicer sets off the alarm, head over there and film/zap/hack the bots.

Does the enemies re-spawn if i wont leave the area & the lvl?

When i did the Paupa's Drop, i didnt do any research.
Is there still a chance for me to max all of them?

    Ho, man...

Enemies will always respawn if you keep running around a level...

Thuggish splicers are gone after Pauper's, so you miss out on the increased wallet perk and Scrounger tonic.

Siren Alley is full of Brutes, Leadheads and Spiders. Oh my, is it ever...

Thanks for your help, i already maxed out the Thuggish splicers .

I though that i need to fill the line 4 times to get to lvl 4, but actually i need to fill it once... so yeah, its really easy !

What do you mean? When you try to film them what does it say, you may have already researched them to full. Look in your research list

In the research i have for example the big daddy, big sister, etc...[in my menu].
according to a walkthrough i found, i need to have also the "Alpha Series", and the "Security", i dont have them in the list.
And now i noticed that i dont have "Houdini Splicer" & "Spider Splicer" on my list also.

So i have only 5 things to research out of 9.
    Why?

Edit: Ok, i just needed to photo 1 time the security and now i have the option in my menu.

    Where i can find the:

    Spider Splicer
    alpha Series
    Houdini Splicer

    ?

Alpha series - Fontaine Futuristics onward

Spiders - Siren alley onward (after you finish at the Pink Pearl)

    Houdinis - Dionysus Park onward

Spider Splicers are found from Siren Alley, onward. First ones I saw were in the Sinclair Hotel, IIRC..

Alpha Series are found in Fontaine Futuristics and Persephone (the two last major areas of the game).

Houdini Splicers, IIRC, start showing up in Dionysus Park, and appear (in smallish numbers) throughout the rest of the game.
