Theres lots of speculation in a few articles I've been reading that suggest,and also that Irrational have hinted at,that our guy has some unique ties with rapture,and his arrival is no accident.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

if the tattoo on his forearm is somehow connected to rapture, then it's really no accident...
Maybe there is an icon on his desktop... Naw.
I was hoping it would be accident... But I guess it isn't too big of a deal
and about the tatoo... I've seen it before... But I just can't place where...
Maybe Ryan still has outside contact and had one of his associates contact our guy with an offer to come down to Rapture. Or maybe Ryan is our father and we've gone looking for the wayward man.

Hatesink mentioned something where he sounded like he knew inside material: The player is a Soviet cell agent that has been tasked the recovery of key figures that have fled to Rapture.
They could also pull a Fight Club mulligan, having the player end up actually BEING Andrew Ryan as part of a twist ending if that's the route Irrational creative decides to go. Imagine finally making it to Ryan's offices, only to find no one sitting at his desk, and audio prerecorded snippets playing over the PA system.....
That would be so cool..its all gone a bit Memento!
