Well here's the painting i promised a while back: http://www.flickr.com/photos/3820559...7623425406275/

So basically i had to do the painting as a painting assignment(go figure!),it is an 'Alla Prima' painting done in acrylic.I did have to simplify the overall design though, not just because it was an 'alla prima' painting, but because my supplies were limited and because we weren't allowed to use our dominant hand(which made it harder).Nevertheless i'm happy with the results and plan to do more painting when i have the time.

This is a sketch I made a few minutes ago, it literally only took like 8 minutes but I liked it and thought it was cute, I will probably finish but I've been way too busy to sit down and draw anything other than school work ):

You're so lucky you can do stuff like that for your art class! My teacher is really strict about what I can or cannot draw. For instance I'm really a cartoon artist but she hates cartoons, so I can almost never do it.
    It sucks ):

My teacher wouldn't she wants all of our focuses for our projects to be on us and how we think of things and she wants our Alice things with our own twist on them, so mine is Bioshock

My art teacher became an art teacher because she couldn't do anything else, lol. She's such a jerk, so demanding, "my class should be your first priority" blah blah, type teacher.

lol I hate those types though I have only had like 1 or 2 of those most of my teacher's this year are all laid back and just after we get our work and they say do it, they don't care what we do as long as it gets done.

Oh wow! That's crazy good! Is that all pen or pencil, because that looks like it could totally be a carving with all that texture. Really nice.

....you guys have no taste... I would rather have a good storyline based director than one who knows nothing but blood and violence like in 300.

lol I loved 300 it was a good movie and pretty funny for me, though Tim Burton while he is good and all I like his movie's I just don't think it would work with Bioshock,

True you need a good director who could display Bioshock as it should be displayed and not twist it one bit off the game... but thats how I feel about it though

Great picture!... But Louie? Those guys have names?

EDIT: Oh, is it just widely accepted that he's Louie McGraff?

This is a great painting! I can't believe you did that with your off-hand. Amazing. What size is that?

I got a couple projects going right now I'm really excited about. Later, I can post the frame I made for my litho's and maybe a couple sketches.

Yeah, well I think it is anyway! It's hard to tell but he has the same tattoos that Louie has (that you see when you hack a turret playing as him, etc.) So, if it isn't Louie, they atleast used the same model haha.

    BTW, thank you!

It's funny - I examined that scene quite closely - and it appears that not only does likely-Louie have Louie's tattoos, but the OTHER guy (the one in the mask whose face you can't see) ALSO has Louie's tattoos
