    Bioshock Quilt

    Hi there,

I've loved looking at all the fan art! It's amazing to see people use their different in tribute to such a great game. In honor of the new game, I made my son a Bioshock quilt. We had a party, presented him with the collector's edition game and his quilt. He was thrilled, and since our whole family loves the game it was fun for all! He's already asked for a Bioshock 2 quilt, so once I spend more time playing the game I'll get to planning that.

    Here's a pic:

Wow! Thrilled that you would pay for it, but have to say no, since it was made for my son. I think there's legal issues so it's not likely that I could ever make them for sale.

    Howdy y'all!

I run a little webcomic called Less Than Three and just recently did a Bioshock related comic.

This doesn't necessarily look like BioShock 2, but it actually was an idea I got when I first heard we'd be playing a Big Daddy --I didn't know what Delta would look like back then. It was supposed to have either Incinerate! or Electro Bolt in the non-drill hand, but I honestly forgot it at the last moment and then I got too lazy to update it. I might do it anyway, if only to try and see how I can make an electricity effect.

    Anyway, here it is.

Hey guys, this probably doesn't constitute as fan art per se, however I am tweaking up a riveter outfit for a Naledi Atkins costume.

    Warning: Awful photo is awful!

Hope you get the idea. Just finished the 'R' decals on the arms this evening.

    That would be mom.

The label on the back (all quilts have a label) says, "Always rescue, never harvest!"

It was a fun project and a way to share the game as a family. Plus, the source material was very inspiring!

    Warning: Text!
I'm sure there are better places to create your first post but I somehow figured an art thread seemed the most appropriate. The long story short:
Someone sent me a link saying "Hey Jared, you should totally paint some Bioshock2 art for this contest I saw."
Me: But I....don't play Bioshock. Like at all.
Them: But you totally should. Check it out, it's awesome.
Me: Um.. Ok. What's the prize?
Them: Bioshock 2 POsters & Soundtracks!
Me: For a game I don't own or know about?
    ....
Them: You make a good point. What's your address?

A few days later I was diving into Bioshock research (I live in Germany so the Media push/marketing hasn't been as crazy as I think it has been in the States) and churned out a few doodles. Time passes, NewGrounds community approves. Two weeks later, a copy of Bioshock appears in the mail from a mysterious (not-so) donor. I'm just getting into it and thus was checking out the forums and....well, blah blah blah words. Enjoy some Bioshock Fan art, which was done before I was a fan but somehow suckered me into really digging Rapture. Backwards as hell, but....yeah. Enjoy:

    -Jared
"who hopes you forgive the cross-posting but I figured Bioshock folks might dig these a bit as well"

Edit: Oh and yeah, besides the obvious photoshop Text, those were done in India Ink & Watercolor.

Thanks...and that was actually the particular one that won the contest. I think most people dug the idea of a Bouncer with a "World's Best Dad" mug. It just sort of fits, right?
    -Jared

Edit: And here's another that's not from anything in particular, but'll probably end up on my site eventually. Apparently when researching Bioshock the Big Sisters didn't show up on my radar until, well, it was too late.

This is just a little sketch I made a while ago after playing through the first Bioshock. The daddy was drawn completely by memory so its pretty off ):
I hope you can enjoy it anyway

Feel free to look at any of my other art but its not really amazing... Nothing else Bioshock related in my gallery though.

    My youngest daughter's drawings...

These are several drawing from my 5 year old daughter Isabella.
She's seen me play Bioshock 2 (when I rescue the Little Sisters) and
is obsessed with the whole Big Daddy Little Sister dynamic.

There is other art I've done including 2 previous original Bioshock pieces done for Cult of Rapture Contests.

Oh my gosh that is so adorable! I love the Big Daddy-Little Sister aspect of the game as well.
I have yet to show my own little sister (she's 6) Bioshock, I'm afraid it might scare her.

Thanks DeliciousCake and Reborn in the Ocean.
She is also a huge fan of Ghostbusters... the film and game.
I have 2 daughters and they never stood a chance with all my ALIEN, Godzilla, Anime and video game toys and paraphernalia around the house.

Hey guys, here's a picture I drew of Louie AKA one of the new Multiplayer characters. Let me know what you think of it.

There's a few little things I'm not happy with, but otherwise I'm really proud of it.

Well that is what they show Delta always holding not a gun its a iconic Big Daddy image to be holding a drill and not a gun, since the Bouncer is after all one of Bioshock's trade mark images

Well we can do that but I need a good picture of Delta and a rivet gun to put on to him instead lol, though I can always use my art book for the gun and Delta
