Thumbs down BS 2 is way to easy this time around.

BS2 so far has been a huge disapointment. I mean, come on....

    1. Ammo is way to plentiful in this game.

    2. Eve dispensors will continue to give you pack after pack until you can't carry anymore.

    3. Even on the hardest setting the enemy's seem way to weak compared to the first one.

    4. There is way to much food and first aid containers laying around. I remember having ot scrounge all over the place to just find something to bump up my health in BS1.

Does anyone else think this is true?

At negative as I am on Bioshock 2 I disagree with you. Playing it on medium was like playing it on Survivor mode in Bioshock 1.

I only got one eve dispenser to give me anything(which only gave me one thing), and I don't even remember a health dispenser.

Like I said, I'm on the hardest setting, and I know the movements of the guys a bit from the first game. Granted the brand new big enemies are different. The Big Sisters are something else, but you can still use what you learned from the first game into fighting these guys with a bit of ease.

This is only my opinion though. I still really like the game. The IA was my best disappointment.

I never saw an eve dispenser! What?? I smashed countless health dispensers for packs, but never saw an eve dispenser. Hmm...

I didn't think BS2 was easy at all. I thought Medium was like Hard mode in BS1. I had plenty of ammo because I liked using the drill a lot. But I liked using the wrench in BS1.

I have it on the hardest setting from the start and I still thinks it's easier than the first one. Then again from playing the first one, you do get the feel for how your enemies act and move. The IA for your enemies could have been a bit more upgraded compared to the first game.

You're kidding. Bioshock 1 left me swimming in so much ammo that I had to make a mod after my first two playthrough's SPECIFICALLY to reduce loot.

The only point I agree on at all is the difficulty of foes... and they're not really less difficult as much as it feels like the weapons do more damage and/or you are a big daddy.

(ps There were only like 3-4 eve dispensers in the game so...)

Lol, you're a troll. Play past Adonis Resorts, mkay?

    1. Unlike BioShock 1, where ammo was plentiful and cheap?

    2. There are almost no eve dispensers in the game.

    3. Hahahahahahahahahaha.

It just sounds to me like you're far, far, far better at Bioshock 2 than the first game.

playing bs2 on hard seemed more difficult than the original on hard. i remember in bs1 by the time i got to fort frolic i'd have to spend my money stuff i didnt need because the stuff i DID need was laying around for the picking. this didn't happen to me on bs2 till inner persephone. regardless, a more challenging difficulty would have been nice. i'd like to get the feeling that i'm actually struggling to survive in a dead city, not blasting my enemies balls to the walls fun time.

however i did thoroughly enjoy bioshock 2, sorry for my rant .

    1. No, it doesn't seem to be.

2: There are about 7-10 EVE Dispensers in the entire game. Get to atleast Ryan Amusements and then we'll talk.

    3: Bwahahah!

    4: You've got BS2 and BS1 confuzzled, sir.

The only thing I thought was too easy was the big enemies. Once you figure out that all you have to do to a brute is hold the drill in his face for a few seconds, it takes the challenge out of fighting them. The Alphas are laughable, too. The Big Sis is kind of challenging, but she doesn't show up enough and it's always after I've looted the whole level!

But you know what IS hard? The Rumblers. They keep throwing down those damn mini turrets. Security Command takes care of that, but that also seems like cheating... they've actually killed me a few times. Father Wales is also no joke.

The main things I found truly difficult were the Big Sisters and the frickin Rosies. I couldn't kill those Rosies for the life of me. Big Sisters towards the end, on Medium, started eating up so much of my ammo. And they hurt too. =/
