I do not believe that the BD in that picture is electric. No information that it is electric has ever been verified. The BD in that picture is the Bouncer type, and it has rock crushing bits for hands. The rock crushing bits probably spin, which would require a motor and batteries, which you are looking at.

Yeah at first they looked like they'd provide electricity but when you look closely and think about it they're just pistons or whatever to power the rock smasher things.

To me it looks like there are 3 classes Close range-Bouncer, Long range-Rosie, and Mortor-Captain hook. But after seeing the Blue daddy i believe there are several different "tiers" of Big daddies.

There's only two classes: Rosie and Bouncer. Bouncer's close range and Rosie's long range.

In the OXM mag it says that there is the rosie and the bouncer BD but there are also specal, rare elite version of the rosie and bouncer BD's, they are very rare maby only one or two in the whole game but taking them down comes with their own rewards.
They're probably the ones with the colours and fancy head pieces.
Haha. Fancy head pieces? Im sure you meant something else but seeing as how this game takes place in the 40's the first thing I thought of was a Big Daddy holding up one of those little masks on a stick to his helmet.(The kind that really only cover your eyes. Im sure there are some in screenshots somewhere)

The little sisters, the GATHERERS existed before the war...why do you think theres a GATHERERS GARDEN? The didnt make it after the war, no way...i think the little girls picked up the slugs, or had them as pets, took care of them or something and so, they became gatherers...sure, its immoral to use little girls, but isnt Rapture about no moral boundaries?
I'm curious as to whether the game itself will actually name the Big Daddies as Rosies etc.
In fact, I don't I've seen anything in game that actually calls a Big Daddy A BIG DaDDY.
Maybe the names will just remain something the devs came up with, and for the oblivious player, it makes it all the more mysterious.
