YOUR interpretation of the ending *SPOILERS*

Alright so im looking for everyone's thoughts on the ending cutscene. In 3 out of the four endings Eleanor srabs you with the needle and suddenly everything switches to her point of view. Does this mean Delta is just dead and Eleanor now only carries his memories (her words kind of suggest this) or is his consiousness (essentially his soul) living inside her now?

Doesn't she stab him in all the endings? And for the other part I was under the impression it was kind of both, his soul and his memories. Perhas Jordan will post here and clear everything up.

You know you still might want to make spoiler tags in this thread boyo. Just FYI. Even if the thread is tagged with spoiler warnings.

When Lamb stops Eleanor's heart it permanently damages Delta, that along with his injuries on the way to the surface, lead to his death.

yes i realize his body died. im asking whether the final cutscene is suggesting she tranfers his conciousness into herself through the use of that plasmid that was used earlier to control the little sister

eleanor absorbs delta's conciousness into her own which is probably why the POV shift occurs

Its like the Part where you play as a little sister. she absorbs yar ADAM and you get to control her..so that kinda happened with you and eleanor.
PS: anyone else Thinks that eleanor is a kick ass character? first shes just that innocent girl but then she becomes a big sis.. and pwns them splicers . And she looks pretty cool in that armor as well.

In the ending I got Eleanor says she has his memories inside her, and that she can hear Delta whispering to her.

It was a nice and sad ending too. I got the good ending, Now delta's conciousness lives within Eleanor.

Take FF7 as an example, it does have something similar. Aerith's consiousness living on Cloud's heart.

still it would had been kickass if there was an ending in which Delta lived, I mean the dying hero has grown really cliche so why not give it a change?
Like it could be a brass balls in hard with good decitions and then you would get the reward?

With an achievement ofcourse, 2K should think on that if they make a future dlc.

I don't think Delta's consciousness fully transfers to Elanor. The way I see it, Delta is no more, and then becomes Elanor. His ego is destroyed when he died, and then sort of reborn into another lifetime in Elanor when she absorbs his experiences. He dies and lives again as someone else, yet Elanor is still Elanor. He doesn't control her because he IS her. Kind of a merge, instead of a takeover of one consciousness over another.
