POLL: How's Bioshock running for you?

I'm curious as to the percentages of satisfied customers.

    It doesn't run, it crashes.

So you might wanna want to fix your thread title to "How's Bioshock crashing for you?"

This poll is biased because if people were playing it and having fun with a non glitchy experiance they wouldn't be complaining on this forum would they?

After three hours of downloading video drivers and hotfixes, trying to run the game, and looking for more fixes, I find I am able to play the game as long as it is in windowed mode, as full screen causes it to fail to load.

And my sound does not work in-game.

Currently trying newer sound drivers... once they download...

Almost wish I had purchased the 360 version, but the mouse control and 1680x1050 resolution (in the small portion where it worked in-game) are so beautiful compared to the 360 demo

Plus, it's a high end game running smooth as glass on my HD2900XT (except for the lack of sound and in-between crashes).

P.S. to all new members... please stop being pussies and editing your swears. This site screens visitors by age, and we are talking about a game that is rated Mature. Please... it is annoying.

I've played alphas that were more stable.

The title should be changed so as not to be associated with the System Shock games. It cheapens them.

I wish I got a flat tire on the way to Best Buy so I wouldn't have wasted $50.

I'm not pissed or anything though...

I have the same "bioshock.exe has stopped responding" error that many people are getting. This is extremely frustrating...

Mine runs but with no sound. i have called support and they say call back in 24 hours which is fine because i won't have a chance to play until then, but I know they won't have a better idea then. Thank God for the Lord of the Rings MMO it doesn't bother me not playing Bioshock for a little while.
