    Unhappy Achievements not working

The GFWL achievements on the pc version of bioshock 2 don't seem to be working.

I've just finished paupers drop and have upgraded a gun all the way but have yet to get a single achievement.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Have you confirmed you're actually logged into GFWL? Have you got any other achievements, like "Daddy's Home"?

I am logged into GFWL and am able to access all of the GFWL things by pressing the home key. I have not gotten any achievements yet, not a single one.

I just tried logging out and in to see if that did anything but it didn't.

I haven't read any other thread about this issue, so unfortunately you might be the only one.

Does anyone know of a way I might fix this? would it be possible to reinstall the game but keep my saved games?

or could it be the save thats doing it?

After moving my save game somewhere safe and starting a new game, I am now getting achievements. This means I will have to play through everything I just did again

So for anyone that is not getting any achievements I recommend start a new game before you get too far..

Yeah, I just did Master Protector on Hard, on my second gathering to boot, and nothing ... I couldn't believe it. Fair enough, it did only take me an hour to do, and was fun none the less. Just a little let down I guess. Ah well, a new game it is.
