bioshock 2 - serious glitch?

hey all; - i've got this game for 360, and about 5 hours into the single player campaign, all but 3 of my weapons disappeared completely, (i still have the hack tool, the drill & the research camera)

i was also hit by an autosave a mere few seconds after. - after checking google/twitter - it seems like its happened to a couple of other people too. - any idea's or do i have to finish the game weaponless (excluding the drill of course, but that can only do so much), or restart? (and therefore lose 5 hours of progress)

ehem. let me explain. you used drill specialist. it is a gene tonic. it limits you to those 3 weapons. simply change it out to get your weapons back.

lol its ok, mate. i only didnt freak out when it happend to me becuase i knew there was a tonic out there that did that. it still wasnt fun bein limited to the drill though...

Oh it sure was I used it alot. And when you get a new tonic there is a descryption on the "Equip or Store" screen.

yeah I fell right into this as well, suddenly 3 melee weapons WTF!!?

Heart attack as my last proper save was 5 hrs ago

While were on the topic of glitches, how come I can't get the grand daddy achievement, I was in the last battle, and I must have killed maybe 6 alphas with no deaths on medium, but nothing happened

Alpha series doesnt count

I dont think alphas count as big daddies because under the research tab they are there own section.

and now you tell me lol. I guess that means im a pro. i did the last half of the game using only a drill and most of the time i had no fuel =] i thought it was part of the game until you had to break the pipes which took me forever until i realized i could throw bodies at them lol

also about the only three weapons. I had to kill 3 alphas a big sister and a bunch of splicers at the same time with a drill and no fuel (i didnt die) i practically crapped myself
