Unhappy Obama Planning to cut the Constellation program

After all of his heroic speeches about space and how Americas leading it he decides that America should have no part in it now im actully crying its that bad i also miss the bush administration

Now the effects of canceling the program are ****ing devastating

    for example

Houston,Texas local buissness owner will lose all of there customers and will drive the local econmy into depression
Houston, Texas The majorty of people at Houston Space center will lose there jobs and so will there families this will cause major problems for the economy and will mariclousy increase the un-employment rate and it gets worse
Alabama In Alabama engerneers who are making and producing hardware will lose there jobs which will have a major effect including unemployment and the economy there families will also struggle
In Flordia it gets worse Engineers and a large portion of Nasa staff will lose there jobs this will rapidly increase the unemployment rate and will starve the local and the state economy causing huge problems

now the list goes on the list of states that are affected are huge obama isn't saving money he will actully be losing money and killing people not just our generation but future generations everyone who knows basic astronmy knows the sun will die and rapidly expand meaning that we have to get out of the solar system way before then by cancling constellation Obama is killing off future generations he is also killing the current generations economy, lifestyle and oh so much more i'm not a U.S citizen but i feel outraged after all of Obamas promises he backstabs his own people now many members of congress are very very very annoyed including the congress for albama who said but the losses in alabama. Now Nasa also saves lives thanks to them new medicine is prodouced now i supported obama but now im crying for bush to come back as stated by many people John F Kennedy must be rolling in his grave hell Nixon probably is too and i wouldn't be surprised if Martin Luther king was too

Although I agree that I preferred Bush's administration over Obama's, you need to back up your claims with references and evidence instead of just stating them. You, also, need to use more organized and structured sentences. The whole thing was a pain to read.

Which business owners? Owners of general stores and flower shops will lose their customers because Obama isn't funding a space program? You need to be clearer in your argument.

Houston, Texas The majorty of people at Houston Space center will lose there jobs and so will there families this will cause major problems for the economy and will mariclousy increase the un-employment rate and it gets worse
That makes sense. Obviously if a major space center were to close (or any major place of business) people will lose their jobs. I don't know what "mariclousy" means though.

Alabama In Alabama engerneers who are making and producing hardware will lose there jobs which will have a major effect including unemployment and the economy there families will also struggle
Once again, you need to be more specific. The word "hardware" includes a variety of different types of items. Hardware can mean hammers, or buzzsaws, or other power tools and I'm sure that there are going to be other forms of businesses that will need to use those types of tools instead of just those working on space programs.

now the list goes on the list of states that are affected are huge obama isn't saving money he will actully be losing money and killing people not just our generation but future generations
Cite the reason why America would be losing money. How would investing in the space program promote a better economy (aside from the fact that it gives people jobs). However, the space program is based solely on research and does not provide the population with any basic needs that they require to survive. In this way, it doesn't necessarily make money and thrives on donations.

everyone who knows basic astronmy knows the sun will die and rapidly expand meaning that we have to get out of the solar system way before then
This isn't going to happen for (potentially) thousands of years. Obviously there are more pressing matters that we need to tend to before we start tackling the problem of moving the entire human population to another planet.

by cancling constellation Obama is killing off future generations he is also killing the current generations economy, lifestyle and oh so much more
Once again, you don't provide any evidence to why this would "kill" the economy or current lifestyle.

Now Nasa also saves lives thanks to them new medicine is prodouced now i supported obama but now im crying for bush to come back as stated by many people John F Kennedy must be rolling in his grave hell Nixon probably is too and i wouldn't be surprised if Martin Luther king was too
To close up this argument, Obama is only proposing to cancel the Constellation Program. The reason he is doing this is because the program is not meeting its deadlines and its costing the economy more. If anything, the program itself is what's hurting the economy. If we don't fund the program, then that money can go elsewhere. Also, all those space centers will most likely not be closed and massive unemployment will probably not occur. Even if the Constellation Program is cancelled, NASA will most likely focus on other areas of research such as "producing new medicine."

Now, I'm not saying that I disagree with your main point. I think it sucks that Obama is pulling the plug on any aspect of NASA, I just disagree with your reasons for why what he did is bad.

    I think he meant "miraculously"

Anyway, I really admit I'm not an Obama fan (I was more Ralph Nader/Bob Barr, actually), and I don't really support an ending of any program...maybe suspension if the governmeny really needs the money ect.., and theat's the main reason

But they probably brought it one themselves if it is because they didn't reach their deadlines; It's not like it's rocket science.....
    Oh wait.....(I couldn't resist )

BTW, I don't think the space center close would kill the local economy THAT drastically, Houston does have a FEW other employers.

Sorry, but we don't allow political discussions as not everyone agrees with each others' views and things can get messy so i'm closing this thread.
