I guess this confirms why the developers here wouldn't give us a direct answer. No evidence of anything like PB, VAC, etc.

Hackers are gonna have a heyday with this game.

dude, vac or no vac, pb or o pb people will always cheat on pc hence the booming cheat websites with paid subscriptions sorry but cheats are a part of pc gaming

Not really, VAC on steam strongly discourages cheaters, and if they do decide to cheat, they get auto-flagged.

Its a really stupid strategy to go into a multiplayer framework WITHOUT a system of catching and punishing cheaters.

i agree it helps but it does not stop it at all, these paid subscription sites have a team of people updating the code making them untraceable and they use new accounts for cheating so flagging them is useless as they use new accounts all the time anyway i am a pc gamer and a console gamer so its not a fanboy argument its just a argument

Ok, but what we're saying is that its unquestionably stupid to not have a system, and the flagging deters them, so they have to rebuy the game in order to cheat again.

If it didn't remove their games then what would the punishment be? Lol. Yeah, it's really stupid. I'll only be able to play in secure servers with friends now without expectations of cheating. Not to mention we aren't only getting the 1/1000 ratio (hardcore cheaters to players) we're getting the people who'll just download free ones and go from there without any punishment.

yea i was thinking of call o duty as a example, hackers basically figured a way to play online and could get unbanned by generating a new key however this is a unique case really

Well, is it me or there ain't any way to kick someone either? (but I've not played long, might be wrong). It is suicide not to get anti cheat AND not being able to kick people...
