Bioshock 2 LE - Damaged Poster?

Just picked up the Limited Edition of Bioshock 2 and it's BEAUTIFUL.

Unfortunately, the rolled posters have a tear. Specifically, the outermost poster is torn, about 2-3 cm inwards, just near the band that keeps them rolled up.

I know it's only the poster - not the albums or the book, but I spent the extra $40 for the extras, and I was really looking forward to framing them.

The local Gamestop where I purchased it says they can replace the GAME if it's damaged, but not the extras.

I've contacted Michael at 2k support, (ticket ID # 102416) who was INCREDIBLY helpful, but hadn't heard of this from anyone else - I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Ive the same issue.. tho through my own stupidty this morning while being 12years old again ( as i am EVERY time a new game appears in the post - im 34 btw )

Sorry that yours has arrived in that state, I think that the store you purchased it from should make some way of replacing the damaged goods.

Nope, didn't even TOUCH the posters, just lifted the album, and saw the poster lying there, torn. I've not even touched it yet, for fear of it getting MORE damaged.

I know 2k has traditionally been good at dealing with customer relations issues - I've got faith they'll come thru for us loyal fans!

Don't think so... the rest of the posters underneath it look mint. Just the top one, torn near the band.

The posters are definitely not supposed to be in that condition. Lol, I'm sure that muc like the Big Daddy figurines in the first BioShock LE, they will be replaced. Wait for some sort of confirmation from Liz.

Got my own SE today, and everything is fine. I´ll frame them before something bad happens.

Just picked up my SE and I have to say it's beautiful! I'll have fully detailed pics up on the other thread in a bit. Only problem I have with it is that one of the edges of the box is a little bent indward (probably a shipping error), but other than that everything else seems to be perfect!

There is a piece of paper wrapped around the three posters, I thought i ripped one trying to get the sticker off but is was just the protective sheaf.

I ordered two LE, one for Windows and another for the 360. One of them is a gift for a friend so I will definately be on the lookout for imperfections in both sets!

I've been searching and I think this is the perfect thread for me to gnocchify... I bought mine from Best Buy and *weird edit* TALK ABOUT SECURITY PRECAUTIONS LMFAO!!! they put those black cable things with a blinking red hub on it, plastic box, exploding ink, barb wire, and had a defibrillator on standby. I was rotfl when I first saw it but all that crap ruined my box!!! Now, I'm not seriously gonna complain about it because, I must admit, I was extremely skeptical at first as to where my $100 was going to but when I finally opened it, I knew it was well worth it. Sorry to ramble lol so all in all, I'm not going to complain about a box while you have ripped posters so I wish you the best of luck with your situation and in the meantime, try to just kick back and enjoy the game

My special edition had tiny tears in the posters towards the top which made me kind of sad

I shouldn't have looked at this, now I want to go look at my SE to see if the posters are messed up lol. Only thing I noticed was the slip cover was slightly torn on the very bottom, but nothing major.
