    Error on start up

    Hello 2K,

I have a slight problem here. When I try to start Single Player it comes up an error sign that sais:
"SecuLauncher: failed to start application. [2000] -> 0x000036B1"

I have no clue what to do, I tried to download a new driver. What is funny though is that I can start Multiplayer without any issues or problem.

I really need help. Been looking forword to play SP for some time now.

    OS: Windows CP

    Video Card:Nvidia GeForce 9500GT
    Video Memory:512.0MB

It might be other software (mainly virus checker) causing issues with Bioshock 2

To see if this is the case try the following.

Press the Windows key +'R' on the keyboard
    Type msconfig and click OK

Select the Startup tab and choose Disable all Apply and Close

    Restart your PC when prompted.

When your PC has restarted please close any windows that open and try the game again.

While unrelated to the issue you have, update your sound card drivers. Man they are 5 years old!

    Indeed they are old.

But that didn't work. ): I have re-installed it one time to and disabled the anti-virus protection. But still nothing...

Do you guys have any other ideas?

I had the same problem and I installed this:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

and then reinstalled the game. I didn't restart my computer and it didn't work. Restarted my computer and bam there it was. Maybe a simple restart?
