The screen goes browngreen and then my computer freezes ending with a bluescreen.

It would be helpful if you would post your computer specs and whatnot
Also, every BSoD usually includes a line with the error, for example "IRQ LESS THAN EQUAL" or whatnot or a mention of a .dll

Try posting those for hopefully a quick and helpful reply.

If you think it's a problem with ATI then try updating to the latest video drivers and if you have any ATI catalyst software try updating it / reinstalling it to see if that makes any difference.

Yeah video drivers are up to date tho.
However i have CCC installed. But getting a strange message whenever i try to start it. I will try to reinstall it.
When i reinstall it will i still be able to enter windows like normal? OR will i have to use the command prompt?

Does seem like an error with CCC but I've never had an ATI card, best giving them a call or checking online to see the best way to reinstall it.

If I had to take an educated guess based on the information given, I'd say it's graphics card driver corruption. Here is what I would do to rule that out:

    1. Click Start - Control Panel - Programs and Features. Search for any and all entries related to ATI, Catalyst Drivers, or related and uninstall. Restart the PC if/when prompted.

    2. Download and install Driver Sweeper (Google it, official versions are on the Guru3d website). Run the program and select the options relevant to ATI Catalyst Drivers. Click the Clean button and let it remove the entries it finds. Reboot when prompted.

    3. OPTIONAL: As an additional step, you may want to download, install, and run CCleaner (Google it) to remove any remaining registry entries left over specifically by the ATI driver software (and in general from uninstalled programs, etc.)

    4. Download the latest non-BETA, WHQL version of the ATI Catalyst drivers specific to Windows Vista. Make sure you download the correct "bit version" (32-bit or 64-bit) of the drivers for your Operating System. Reinstall the drivers and reboot when/if prompted.

Once the steps have been completed, retry the game and let us know if it works. Hope this helps.

Just noticed something strange. I have 3 nvidia options in add / uninstall programs. Whats up with that? I mean windows is telling me that i have radeon 3850?Also tried uninstalling + using Driver cleaner with no luck. Still the same error when i try to start CCC.bioshock 2 is still crashing.
Think ill just go ahead and buy a new computer. Im seriously tierd of having issues with this computer on every new game i buy.
    Alienware anyone?

Also any ideas why i have nvidia drivers aswell as ati ones?
    Thanks

Do you have an nVidia motherboard? That could certainly explain it. What you probably don't want is ATI graphics drivers and nVidia graphics drivers installed at the same time. nVidia chipset drivers with an ATI graphics card/drivers should be fine.
