Odd cpu load/temp. issue.

I've noticed that at the main menu before going into the game and when I pause BS2 in game the frame rate will drop and the cpu usage jumps up to 97%, cpu temp jumps up 25 degrees higher than when actually playing the game.

Game runs great when actually playing though, only 37% cpu usage when actually playing, solid 60 fps with vsync. Using steam version.

Anyone else getting this?

Yes i get the same problem. Win Vista & Core 2 Duo 2.5Ghz

My CPU rockets to 95% on both cores when the game is paused - I only noticed because i was taking screenshots of the game in dx9 and dx10 mode - btw I still can't see a blind bit of difference
