Who's doing Midnight Launch at there local Gamestop/Best Buy?
What about those who don't stay in the US? Like GAME here in Scotland?

my local one is having one, but i pre-ordered off amazon so no for me
All Gamestops in my area are not having a midnight release because so many people canceled on them. So sad I was goin' to get all spliced up and everything.

I'd go, just to get it at midnight, except none of the Best Buy's in my area are doing a midnight launch, and I refuse to shop at GameStop.
im doing the stay up all night long this weekend because the singleplayer is gona be awesome... and dont say it aint cuz if u do ill slit your throat in multiplayer....

I just seen a poster at GameStop that says the line starts at 10:00 pm. I'm going to try and bring some friends and sit out for two hours. But I don't think they want to sit in the cold for a game that they'll never play.
I just pre ordered mine from Game-stop, but had to get PS3 cuz LE 360 was sold out. Do you think I will be able to pick it up, and then exchange the game only for an XBOX copy?

Unfortunately, my Gamestop isn't doing one. Here's the thing:
In the area, there are 3 Gamestops(2 Gamestops, 1 EB games). And by "area", I literally mean across the street from eachother. 2 in the mall, one regular store across the street...I live in Southern California, we're...spoiled.
I pre-ordered my LE in the mall, but recently found out there won't be a midnight launch, only at the store across the street. So I asked if I can just transfer my pre-order to the other store, but they already sold out of LE's. So I have to stick with the one in the mall if I want a Limited Edition.
That's kind of retarded. I was in a similar situation (preordered MGS4 in the mall, mall wasn't doing a midnight opening but this other shop a few blocks over was). Except the guys from the real mall worked with the guys in the strip mall to make sure all their preorders were transferred over to the strip mall (after contacting the customer to make sure it's cool), the actually stock moved.Originally Posted by Stotch

Something inside me wants to show up at the midnight launch anyways, just to be around fellow fans. But I don't have a spare $60 just to buy the game early, only to re-buy it the next day anyways.
i wish i could after school i will get it i pre ordered it but i think everyone eles on this form did too.

Lol, I'm definitely going to my GameStop dressed in full Rapturian attire (yes, I'll ge snappies), but I won't be able to play it for I have to get up early the next morning. But either way, I CANNOT WAIT!
i think there should be an option number 3: "Hell Yes, and playing all night! Even though I gotta get up too early for work." 'cause that's me. working the launch, then back in the morning.
Lol, not a bad suggestion. I think there should be an option for getting your games and / or guides at the launch but then going to bed for work and school the next morning, haha.
Haha yeah lucky for me I dont have to do either. I got an interview on Monday, which will hopefully turn into an offer, then goin to the midnight launch and not worrying about work til the following monday. So yes, I will be playing quite a bit that night
I'd love to go but my GS isn't doing a midnight release. And I work 7-7:30 on Tuesday however I'm taking my breakfeast break at 10 AM, coming back to the office, and am going to play the ____ outta it at work. I'm stoked.
I need to check if my local GameStop is doing a midnight release. If so, I'm there.
Gamestop.com has a list of the stores doing the midnight release and i wanted to go see if the one i preordered from is on that list but i cant access it for some reason.

I'd love to go but our local store said they didn't have enough preorders. They've had midnight openings for many other games but unfortunately for some reason Bioshock 2 just isn't big enough around here
Well, I won't be going to university on launch day, and tomorrow I'm going to turn down overtime for it, so I won't have anything else to do for the day, but I'm not going to a midnight launch. I am!! I am working my midnight at my store with my friends/co-workers and all 3 of us took the next day off to play all night and all through the next day!! Woohoo!! Can't wait!!
I have a friend who is getting his at the midnight launch ,and agreed to pick mine up on the way
so what uis going on at theses events?
Depends are your store. We are going to be doing some trivia and what not at mine. I can't wait, but wish had more PS3 friends picking it up. I have more 360 friends picking it up, but my friend is also hugely into BioShock is getting it on PS3 and she and I have had it planned to pick ours up on the midnight and play that night.
