    PC and 360 cross-platform Multiplayer?

    http://www.neoseeker.com/news/11809-...-windows-live/

This article implies that there will be 360 and PC cross-platform multiplayer. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Also, this is pretty off topic but since Bioshock 2 has no dedicated servers, does this mean matchmaking will work like 360 multiplayer games?

Just because a PC game uses GFWL doesn't mean that it supports cross-platform multiplayer.
There has been no mention of said feature, so do not expect it.

I doubt it, but you think that they would make a connection to PC, and Xbox since PC is using GfWL

Few multiplayer games actually support the feature.
The only one I know of is Shadowrun.

Yes, Shadowrun didn't go well. Don't expect it in Bio2.

Monolithic is right, you cant except them to do cross-platform multiplayer only because GFWL is used on PC and Xbox 360, id assume multiplayer will be 60% similiar to GTA IV PC multiplayer ( which was that all platforms had its own multiplayer ), except no LAN ''hosting'', game starts as lobby and friends on GFWL can join during game ( or possibly before game thru some way, in GTA IV they had party mode that let you gather your friends and when you went to some gamemode you would bring your friends straight away with you ) if someone is intrested about way multiplayer implented into GTA IV PC version note that GTA IV is sandbox game and half of these features are very likely to not come to Bioshock 2 multiplayer.

Ughhh. Don't any of you realize how BAD that would be????
360 players aim slower and it's hard to aim and stuff on a console.
PC Gamers would DOMINATE us... Then again, they're probably gonna lag like crap.

I'm hoping for cross-platform support, because most of my friends will be playing on the 360, but I'm not expecting it. Guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow.

Yeah, we'd be headshotting the places where everyone was standing a second ago like CHAMPS!

    Exclamation

I don't imagine it will be cross-platform but if it was I'm sure the Multiplayer would last longer.

Main reason to tell is if the achievement list is the exact same one as the 360 version thus not allowing someone to gain 2000G by playing PC and 360 version.

Basing this off the games that do have cross-platform play they only have one achievement list for both platforms.

    Lost Planet: Colonies
    Shadowrun
    Universe at War
