They do dissapear when you leave that area of Rapture. Their bodies are meant to stay there while you're in the area, but when you leave they're gone. Same thing with Langford, but she happens faster. You can assume that splicers got to the bodies...Originally Posted by Buck R.

If they are not there, then they most likely dissappeared.
i just recently backtracked to Med Pavilion and found Steinmans body still charred and floating in the water, so i think that either the body may be elsewhere in the room, or i may be the one with the glitch and the body didn't dissapear
Yeah i actually found his corpse under the water, and i found peachy and sander, I even found the spider splicer in Neptunes bounty
