I'm running Vista (with updates), GeForce 7900 GTX (x2 in SLI mode), Create X-Fi, all latest drivers. Got it from Steam but the demo does the same thing and it's not from steam.

There are apparently a number of people with this issue (see steam forum).

Yeah, I can confirm my windows Problem Report Log has the same exception code error c0000005.
