What is this game getting in the way of my DRM?

So I saw this cool DRM 3-pack on Steam which included "Steam, SecuROM and Games For Windows LIVE" and I really wanted to get it. They even give you discounts on 4 packs to give DRM 3-packs to 3 of your friends, too!

However, it seems the DRM 3-pack also comes bundled with an 11 GB thing called "BIOS Shock 2". What is this thing and why is it getting in the way of my precious optical-drive-ruining, rootkit-installing DRMs?
