    Are there other subjects?

If we play as Subject Delta, what happened to subjects Alpha, Beta, and Gamma (are you happy now)? Will we ever reach a point in the game where we find ourselves in a lab where the failed Big Daddy prototypes reside (like in Alien: Resurection, when Ripley sees all of the failed clones)?

Good point, they may explain in the game; however, since usually as it progresses things get better and less buggy, I would hate to play as Subject Alpha. 'Plasmas go off without notice" :\ and shoot you in the face'.

Seriously, In all likelihood they did not survive the induction

Doesn't the Greek alphabet go Alpha, Beta, Gamma? Either way, I hope that the three are proto versions of the three main types of BDs (Rosies, Bouncers, and Rumblers)

I'm not talking about playing as them, I'm talking about seeing them in giant test tube-like chambers and on surgery tables, maybe an audio diary to talk about why they failed and maybe a test course that the prototypes had to complete.

I always assumed that Alpha, Beta, Ceta (I thought it was Gamma...) were just the previous versions of you. I think they said you're the first Big Daddy, the others might not have been successfully grafted into the suit of something. I don't think we'll see them though.

Subject Delta was the prototype for those, he was just separated into three parts for the final products. Bouncer got the drill, Rosie got the Rivet Gun, etc. None got the Plasmids.

I do have a little evidence suggesting multiple subjects. In the latest episode og Qore the developers mention you play as one of the prototype big daddies. So Delta might not be the only one.

Yeah, there has been conjecture about other BD prototypes ever since we heard the name "Delta". Certainly makes sense from a logical standpoint--your first experiment rarely works. And from the descriptions of Delta, he seemed to work too well.

Where are the steps leading up to him? We may be the first "Big Daddy" prototype, but not the first "guardian" prototype. Other peacekeepers/defenses for Little Sisters may have been experimented with. Robots, humans with enhanced abilities but not so much armor, or even something wackier. The field is wide open.

I've held out the hope that if someone (Tenenbaum, Sinclair, etc) revived you to combat Lamb, wouldn't it stand to reason that Lamb might try to fight fire with fire? Obviously we will ultimately mow through all her regular minions, so she may turn to other (failed) prototypes to combat us. Maybe she'll patch them up, temporarily fixing whatever fell short originally. Could make for some very unique (and grotesque) boss fights.

I suppose we could see them in test tubes, but that would be far less interesting to me. Besides, I'm hoping that's how we meet Mark Meltzer.
