Yeah there is a lot of juicy stuff in that video. I love the fact that the TV screens now show videos as opposed to showing still images.

Yeah this game will easily be the best game ever. I knew there would be a little story for MP, but this is just awesome how they did this. Just 31 days...

I know eh?! (Sorry, I just filled out a major Canadian stereotype) It sent chills down my spine when You wake up next to the empty hyp covered with your blood. And the apartment is beautiful! If I lived in Rapture, I would kill to get that place (LOL)

Actually, paying attention to the start, it seems he/she skipped an opening sequence. I think there's a sequence where you inject yourself with it, THEN you wake up.

No no, his movements seemed almost cartoonish. I don't really like it, but does it really matter? http://91.121.125.204/filmy_pliki/goltv/500_976_76445084.f4v

Man, that really was incredible. I know they said it was going to be story-based but geeze, that just blew away my expectations. Unbelievably good.

No your right it doesn't really matter but thats up to opinion, and well its probably because of the black and white effect that gives you that type of blotchy cartoon effect that they were probably not intending to convey but it happend anyway but yea I Personally dont think it matters.

Wow, well my hopes for the "multiplayer story" have certainly been boosted. It's design looks fantastic, I love all the little details they put into it. I'll probably explore my apartment for like 30 minutes just staring at everything, ahah.

Words cannot describe from my deepest emotions that fathom my inner soul. I love the layout of how they are doing the mp, it just wont be just some run of the mill mp game where you just sign online and go on to a quick deathmatch. Some games use rank as a purpose to want to keep playing(this one does as well)but its so much more than that with this game. It has a striving storyline that builds upon your character reinforces it with customization. If all games actually put more effort into their mp like this than there would be more people playing for longer extents of periods of time. Its also much more rewarding that way, but most important of all the game finally has a purpose which makes it succeed more so over any other game. 2k thank you

Well said! I completely agree with you. This looks like such a more interesting MP experience than the vast majority of games.

this multiplayer is unique! i didn't saw that kind of multiplayer anywhere! having your own apartment...this is very new to me! great job 2K...great job! and you don't have anywhere that kind of start for multiplayer,it's like you are starting a new game! in other games you just enter a multiplayer option and than you find a game and start playing, but here you can walk around apartment and you go to bathysphere and you can costumize your character and you can change your character! awesome job 2K...awesome job!

Did any one notice if you stop it at 4:01 he is right near the leader board machine and he looks to his left and you see a gated off like door way does any one know where that might go?

You mean that? We can only guess, but maybe that's what unlocks when you reach the highest level.

I just hope it isn't to some little gallery or anything. Hopefully, something you can actively mess with for fun.

Actually, from Kotaku reviews, that might be the other apartments. They don't do anything but it re enforces the idea that your a citizen. 2K sure does like re enforcing ideas don't they?

But they said you had your own personal Bathysphere, so why would it be in the lobby? Although, if so, I could imagine that being an entrance for people to join your house (lobby).

    The apartment looks amazing.

I was a bit shocked at Ryan's voice. Sounds like they got someone to replace Armin Shimerman. Shame. I loved his delivery in the first game. Hope the new fellow can pull it off.

Honestly, the voice seems right to me. Maybe not the same actor, but it isn't a bad replacement. I didn't even notice, I was too immersed in the words, themselves.

my only grip is Ryan's facial animations....

like others have said, too cartoony...it's hard to take him seriously...

a still image would have worked much better IMO....

and was I the only one thinking "STFU and let me listen!" whenever the interviewer spoke?

other than that though, everything was epic!

Oh my gosh, that was better than I dreamed. I was thinking of a modest little suite, but dang, Bathysphere access right outside your front door...
    Love the mask customization.

2K. I'm sorry, Irrational...keep this up, and you may pass VALVe as my favorite game company.

Well, if we gotta decide between this and the stiff facial animations from the first BioShock...

And yeah, I wanted him to shut up. OH MY GOSH, I NEED THE DEMO!!!

I agree, it distracted me more than it should have.
I think why his facial animations were so cartoony is the fact that the animators didn't sync with the voice actor's voice and HIS facial expressions. Like with Uncharted 2 or Dead Space, the actors not only provided the voice work of their characters, but the motion capture as well. The facial expressions look much more realistic when done this way.

Oh well, hopefully it won't distract me too much in the game, because it really does make me not take the characters seriously.

I think when you achieve a new rank (Though not every time you rank up) you unlock new masks and such.

Well, I know Sinclair Solutions provides you with weapons, tonics, etc. for ranking up, but I don't think they'd include things like masks. I think those are more like personal achievements.

Well, there are two things in particular that I either enjoy, or am curious about, or both. The first is that I'm really glad that they've allowed upgrades to be another thing you include in your loadout.

The thing I'm curious about is what could the rank 40 tonic possibly be? What tonic is so good that you don't unlock it till the very last level?
