    nospliced survivors

I remember this topic coming up before, but in my searches I found no new information.

Does anyone know if there are pockets of people who haven't overspliced. In BS1 there were a number of characters who were sane, and I assumed the overspliced ones were just part of Ryan or Fontaine's army. I also thought perhaps, that some areas of Rapture were just given over to the "commoners." I assumed Ryan was working on his mind control, but would still want some kind of elite or braintrust to keep Rapture running.

Have we heard anything more on nonsplicing citizens?

In bioshock 2 there are nonspliced citizens that when you meet them. You effect the whole story if you decide to let them live or kill them. Like with the little sisters in the first. Now ending will be effect by what you do to these regular nonspliced people.

Pretty much like Sander Cohen with morrel chose aspects of the little sisters.

Well its hard to say. In the first game we didnt know the population so its easy to say over the 10 years some of the splicers may of been over splicing but with the loss of little sisters not much ADAM was left.

So i would say theres a pretty good number of nonsplicers.

Those would be some cool stories to hear and it would also set up an interesting social order between spliced and nonspliced.

In BS1 in McDonaugh's tavern there is a poster in one of the room that tells all "unmodified" citizens to evacuate somewhere. It's the room with the bloody corpse tied to the bed with handcuffs.

In Bioshock when you are riding the elevator up and listening to Atlas crying about his family and asking you to help him you can see a perfectly normal human being smashing a door, probably trying to run away. So yeah there should be some of them. Also the player must be aware that every choice affects the game as in if there was no reward for killing then the choice is obvious (leave them), so the real question is what do we get for killing them ;p ?

Quick question, would you consider the guy who splices O.O.L., James Millard Oakes i think, not "over-spliced". He's still talking and thinking seemingly normal. Then again, it has been over ten years since he made the audio diary
