Replay value once you've finished M2?

Please ignore my ignorance if I say this wrong, but M2 doesn't have a dependable multiplayer option, if it all. So once we've all finished the story mode of the game, would there be anything else to do thereafter?

P.S: I'd like to see at least a free roaming online mode where some 50+ gamers get to go against each other, perhaps form groups defending their own territory. I know M2 isn't designed for online play, but can we have at least something to keep us going after 2 days of purchasing the game?

No, no online mode will be present (not officially confirmed but I'm quite sure), afterwards something like in the first game (referring to freeride extreme) may be in the game. Other then that you will be disappointed again!
The game will have (if I'm correct) four different outcomes so there will be plenty for you to do...

I think free ride is funner than in mafia 1, (IF) there comes a free ride for mafia 2'I'll take that one after the story because you can do more, go to a bar to appartment take a beer XD.

The idea is good, but reality would show that it wouldn't be so much of a mafia as a gangs war... The whole idea of the mafia would be lost in my opinion. If Mafia decided to go online, they should make a totally new game. With an online story line, everybody would have to choose a family (or maybe the family has to choose you) and everybody would be a part of it. In order to complete missions, a certain number of soldiers, capos etc. should be required. Something like WOW but actually nothing like it (may seem confused but I hope at least one person understands what I'm saying). But those are just dreams for there will not be a multiplayer in Mafia II...

That sounds like a very interesting idea if a mafia game had that I'd buy that in a heart beat
