I kept getting the error saying that the configuration settings were incorrect, milliseconds after double-clicking the Bioshock icon to load the demo. I can only hope that the demo download (Not from Steam) was corrupted. I uninstalled it and will hope for the best later today when I get the actual retail game! Thankfully I have both PC and 360 versions on order so if the PC won't start I'll just shelf it until it will!
