All I have to say is I had a 360 and within 2 months i started getting the red ring of death. the 360 sucks! thats why there has already been ~4 different hardware version AND they are planning a smaller cpu within a year! I played bioshock on pc last night for frist time on a sony 36' hdtv at 720p with all features turned up in game and had a rock solid 60fps. I know the 360 can't do that, every game I played on it there would be a few parts where the fps would get choppy....driver issuses with this game?..none for me....as long as you know what your doing you won't have any problems and I gotta laugh at people saying that the 8800gtx will go out of date in a few months. sure they might come out with a new card but that 8800 will run games well for 2+ years...guys its gonna be a looooooong time before directx 11 comes outs!!!

HELLO?!?!? The RROD appears for a reason. I've had my 360 for almost two years with no problems. The RROD tells you that there is a hardware problem. So, naturally, of course your games aren't going to play like they are supposed to. Use your warranty, get it fixed!

well I got my 360 when it first came out and it only had a 90 day warranty ..and that was for exchange for a refurbed unit. If I'm paying 400+ for a system it better have a 1 year warranty and it most def should not mess up in the first 2 months! so i sold it, and then they extend the warranty...so they screwed me over and the thing made more nose than my pc ever does. sounded like a small jet was trying to take off from my floor.

I find it funny how it always seems to be 360 owners that start these kind of 360 vs PC threads. Personally speaking great you are happy with your 360 I am happy with my PC. I just want to know why 360 owners feel the crushing need to try and convince people that the 360 "is the best". I mean you have about as much chance as converting a PC gamer to the 360 as I have of converting you into a PC gamer.

As for the guy that said the 360 can do things the PC can't, was that is a joke. Want me to list the things a PC can do that the 360 can't it would be a hell of a list. A PC can do dozens of things a 360 can't plus it plays games with better graphics. But yes it does cost more (not the thousands of pounds people claim though)

I mean you have about as much chance as converting a PC gamer to the 360 as I have of converting you into a PC gamer.

Funnily enough, I was what some may term a 'hardcore' gamer for 5 years, kept buying the lastest and greatest, spent many an all-nighter playing some obscure FPS shooter, did the MMORPG scene, if it was released 99-05 I played it(except Thief, sorry! guys)

I got fed up of the constant upgrading, tweaking, error diagnosing etc and when the 360 was launched , I couldn't jump ship fast enough.

PCs are great for the majority of games and obviously a top end rig will eat a 360 for dinner.

But there's something to be said for being able to lounge on a sofa, with a massive HD screen in front of you.

i'm a PC gamer and a 360 gamer (and yes, you can be both). all points above are valid but i know that my 360 was ... M A D E .. for gaming where as my PC is built to to everything. with all the PC installing issues that i have heard about (there are over 1000 threads for technical computer support). You dont see 360 gamers in the technical support forums because all they have to do is put in the disk and theyre off.

you cant beat that feature.
