Thread: Unable to config QWERTY keyboard with the french version of the game.

Unable to config QWERTY keyboard with the french version of the game.

I know the keybinding is a problem for everyone, but this is particular here... When the game is installed in French, it will automaticaly bind "Z" with "forward" and "W" with "Zoom"... In fact, "Q" and "A" are switched as well as "W" and "Z"...

You should cancel the "reserved" keybinding, detect QUERTY keyboard or put an option for choosing the keyboard...

Damn! This is a "Games for Windows"! Suppose to be user-friendly and idiot-proof...

I have issues reconfiguring the keys in the demo too. So far I've assumed it's a demo issue and not in the full game since they changed stuff like removing the save function that might affect it.

For example, when I tried to assign a 'quick save' key the whole thing freezed for me.

Yeah I tried to assigne a key to quick save but unlike yourself it didn't freeze, just told me that every single key on the keyboard was already reserved.

Gotta be fixed! Please... Anyway... I edited the user.ini file, but this isn't the way it should be done...

also, I need a mod/admin to move that thread to the Technical Support Forum please.

and a sticky would be nice if you feel it's warranted
