Mafia 2 1080p question?
Most games right now only support 720p resolution, I know you can upscale to 1080i but 720p still looks better. Will Mafia 2 support 1080p resolution, because it seriously looks better compared to 720p. If you ever played Wipeout HD you can tell how everything just looks crisper
So does anyone know?

Come on Frank, I know this guy is extremely irritating and negative and frankly I pity him. But don't lose your temper, he isn't worth the time. And Newhandle, you are a sad person, the only thing you can is comment. Well I'd like to see you do a better job then the devs so why don't you keep that big mouth of yours shut and create your own game on your precious PC. To point out how annoying you act, Frank Fontaine is probably the most active member on this forum, he never insults anybody and he is very polite. Yet you made this angry and use offensive language... Normally I'd say no offence but in this case it would just be lie. And of you make one more insulting comment, I won't rest before you get banned. This isn't a theat, just consider it a warning.
On topic: count me in for 1080p!

I'd go for 1080 If possible also. I have a 360 and very good HD TV so if M2 supports Full HD, I'll be saving for an HDMI cable.

I'll say to 2K, if you get native 1080p without sacrificing any graphics or content. I'll buy an HD TV with an HDMI cable for my PS3, just because of Mafia 2 (and Bioshock 2, if it has that option).
I'm sure they'll listen to you.

I think that playing at 720p on an Home Console is more than enought for the eyes,even more on a good TV!
Since nearly all xbox 360 games are on pc (expect live arcade),i'd prefere playing those game with a better quality/community/Fps than on my Xbox 360.
I think the Ps3 is the console that have the more games that don't come to xbox or pc (MGS4,Killzone2?,God of war 3,GT 5....)
But on a PC screen,you can't even compare the quality of an upscaled 640p/720p to 1680x1050 (with 2xAA?) and an Native 1680x1050 resolution with 8xAA.
I played the first Mafia on PC,i think the second one will be good on all three platforms not like the first^^ So i choose PC only because i have the PC to handle it good
so do I but after trying the last few multi platform games I still find myself going back to the console, Batman AA looked great on my PC, better than the 360 version but I found the controls needed more fingers than I've gotSo i choose PC only because i have the PC to handle it good
But you can use the xbox 360 controller on the PC^^
I used to be an HardCore PC gamer but since i bought an Xbox 360,i must admit that i like console now^^ Maybe because when i was young,the best game i played where on console,because of my brothers
but if I'm going to do that then I might just as well sit on the comfy sofa & look at a big TVBut you can use the xbox 360 controller on the PC^^
PC does look better, but it's not enough of a difference to make me think I should be playing on PC.
