    No sound in intro movie

Theres no sound when the game starts and 2k and the rest introduce themselves, no background music in the main menu, and no background music when he smokes the cigar in the plane, Bioshock symbol appears, and then theres sound when he's in the water. I think there was no sound in the end when theres an out-tro, but I don't remember. Help?

Are you using the latest drivers for your sound card, and what kind of soundcard do you have?

Well, I'm not sure if this is it, but dxdiag says the name of the device is Sigma Tel Audio, I use an Intel Audio Stuido , and I don't really know what drivers or anything about computers, really.

Oh, and the Trailer for the full game at the end of the demo has no sound either.

I have the same.I`ve got RealTek HD audio.Run it in XP compatibilty mode and it works fine.It seems to be the new Nvidia beta drivers that cause it.So we might have to wait until there up dated to run it in Vista mode.

I have the same problem, no menu-music and no sound in the intro.

I'm using the X-Fi Platinum soundcard on a 5.1 system and Windows XP.

Also I'm using the latest Bioshock patch 1.1

    Anyone solved this problem?

I've been searching this forum and googled for I don't how long!

I think I solved this my reinstalling the Soundblaster X-Fi drivers. I'll try to see if it still works later on.
