Last night I was playing some COD:MW2 with a friend of mine whose an staunch fan of Bioshock. Well according to him, his daughters friend said that there was a bioshock 2 demo up on XBL....
If this is true, why cant I find it and why (if it was up) was it taken down?
Also, Tropico 3, which comes out a week before BSII, already has their demo up, Liz, or anyone else who knows, when can we expect BSII demo to be up?
i hope not because it it was what the hell are we all doing here?
First off, there is no Bioshock 2 demo. There have been some reporters and such who have recieved preliminary editions, but there are no demo out yet.
Second, there probably won't be a demo for a long time. The demo for BS1 only came out a few days before the actual game.
I think we're better off without a demo, i mean you get to the point in the demo were it ends and your like NOOOOOOOO! i want more!

The anoying thing is, is that the people who are privileged enough to get there hands on the demo probably wont play it or dont really bother about bioshock. I say this because when ever i get Beta's, its to games i dont really like. There will most likely be a demo for BioShock 2. When it will be released i have no idea. One can only hope it is released very soon

Except my friend said that Microsoft sent him a message/email (I forgot which) updating him, saying that a BioShock 2 demo was coming January 1st.
Hmm, that might be possible actually. The marketplace updates on Fridays and January 1st is in fact a Friday.

That actually makes sense. New Years Eve was when Rapture went to hell in a hand-basket. It would make sense then to release the demo on New Years Day.

In a way, a really want a BS2 demo to come out but then again, I don't. I mean, demos are great and all but like someone said, when you finish a demo, it's just awful. It makes the wait for the actual game even harder to deal with because you want more...now. It has it's ups and downs but I'd only be kidding myself if I said I REALLY didn't want one. Despite the bad part about it, I'd probably still download if I saw it
Anyways, a BS2 demo releases on Jan. 1 would be pretty awesome. I guess I hope it happens.
