    Bill McDonagh and Sullivan

Bill McDonagh and Sullivan are two characters who are important to Bioshock 1s story and have several audio diaries.Bill McDonagh is dead but I think finding his ghost/hallucination would be cool. Also Sullivan would be cool to meet because he's not confirmed dead and he was still sane in his last diary. Also seeing as he never mentions using plasmids or splicing he may be one of the few pure humans left in rapture. Sullivan is also the head of security in rapture and having a large stock of guns he could survive in the hostile environment.

I'm pretty sure Sullivan is dead. One of the corpses in Neptune had his audio diary on it.
Besides, even if he didn't die in BS1, it's unlikely that he would've survived another 10 years in the extremely hostile environment of Rapture.

I would pay money for McDonagh's ghost to show up in Bioshock 2. That guy doesn't get nearly enough love. <3

I agree. I'm sure he will have some things to say about Lamb.

Im sure that more of McDoough will show up more in the second game. Because he designed Rapture's innards, I think that he should have more of a role in the second. As to Sullivan, I think that he is dead. I noticed that as the story progressed, he turned away from Ryan. If my understanding of the game is correct, he woud've been the first on Ryan's hit list.

Being one of Ryan's right hand men, he probably has some Audio Diaries about Lamb, since she's his employer's political rival.

I think they both are dead cause the bodies of the enemies Ryan had in front of his office door must of been one of them.

Sullivan is dead*. McDonagh is dead. But they will have audio diaries, I'm 99.99% sure of it.

It's not officially notated, but it's EXTREMELY hinted at that Sullivan felt deep guilt over the murder of Anna Culpepper, and after taking her shawl (?), he committed suicide.

Mostly with a heavy undertone of "I told you so", knowing McDonagh.

I really like McDonagh, the character was well voiced and I really liked his story, from a kind of handyman to right hand man and then dead man! lol

I doubt Sullivan is alive. If McDonagh thought he needed to kill ryan for the good of the city, I could imagine Ryan would've dealt with Sullivan the same way. I like to think Andrew Ryan started to become like Stalin, constantly paranoid of his own administration, and constantly cleaning them out to ensure he retains power.

it was some kind of transfer of memory due to plasmids or something.

I'm just going to assume he was duilt with for some form of insubordination. I'm guessing that any decent person who had the means to take down Ryan would've tried. But obviously it didn't go so well.

Actually supposedly Sullivan felt guilty for killing Anna Culpepper so he took his own life. Supposedly a corpse in Neptune's Bounty with one if his audio diaries on it is his corpse

I know the corpse you speak of. That would definately make sense. The only thing that strikes me as odd about that is the corpse is laying out in the open. Remember Suchong was found in his lab, so Sullivan probably would've killed himself in his office. I can't imagine he'd kill himself right in the middle of the wharf. He was a sensible man after all. One of the few.

I agree, that is odd...but there's no corpse in his office, and there is no corpse in the level that is actually confirmed to be his,and that's the the only corpse that is rumored/speculated to be Sullivan's...so unless we get information to tell us otherwise,I guess we just have to go on speculation here

    from the Bioshock wiki:
''He is probably the corpse in Neptune's Bounty, since the corpse contains one of his audio diaries. ''

The wiki isn't a definite source to consult upon in these sorts of contexts.
The general consensus, as mentioned, is that he died in some way or another in Neptune's Bounty.
I suspect that there will be audio diaries featuring him in BS2, although I doubt that they'll be in any large quantity.

Agreed, but again,we don't have any exact information to 100% confirm/deny anything,so unless we hear otherwise,it's all we have to go on for now.

now that I think about it,with all the high ledges in Neptune's Bounty, maybe he committed suicide by jumping, and that's why his corpse(if it is truly his) is in the middle of the wharf?? just a thought

Valid point. Very valid point. I'll have to replay Neptune's Bounty and look for some ledges. There are some in that area already.

I don't think its his corpse at all. The audio diary is 'Picked up Timmy H. Today', which is set long before some of his other diaries. The corpse is probably whoever the message is meant for, 'in case they wanted a bit of entertainment.'

He's probably dead, but that's definitely not his corpse.
