Mark Meltzer's Role In Bioshock 2???

Sorry if this thread is old. I think that Mark Meltzer should be in Bioshock 2. I believe he found out where Rapture is. And he is looking for his beloved Cindy. What if he can be an ally to the PT. OMG!!! Or what if the PT has to make a choice when he runs into Mark whether to kill him or help him find Cindy. If he kills Mark than Cindy is virtually doomed. If not than Mark and Cindy are reunited.

    1. I think there already are numeroud threads about this. Use the search functions.

    2. Mark hasn't actually found rapture yet, he's still looking for it in SitS.

    3. I agree, Mark should be in BS2.

Which part of what I said? The part about Mark still looking for rapture? Or that Mark should be in BS2? Or the part where I said you should use the search function?

That is an interesting idea, I would really like this!

I also would like to see Mark appear in the game, but I have a bad feeling he isn't. Then again no one is certain for now.

I practically wet myself when Mark worked out where Rapture is. I think if he doesn't turn up in the game now, somehow, there'll be rioting in the streets. (Outside my house, at least.) =P

Lol, I'm looking forward to seeing some sort of reference to Mark (or anyone h's been involved with) in the game. I've said in previous fourms that if he isn't a direct character, he'll almost definitely be mentioned through audio diaries or things in the environment. Who knows, anything is possible?

Yes, those tricksy developers! They even included Pac-man in BS1. But almost certainly they'll have a cameo. Like you randomly see him running from splicers, or dragging a LS out of a vent thinking it's Cindy.

Lol, EXACTLY! I'm thinking there's going to be something like that (but not so silly). Also, I remember pac-man, and that was hilarious, lol. I was low on health while I was staring at it and a splicer took me out from behind!

Hello,I am new here to this forum..but I too agree that Mark and/or Lutwidge should play some role/roles in Bioshock 2

Also, where is Pac-man? Is it just in the PC version of the game? Because I have the XBOX 360 version and never saw it.

I know that they have confirmed that you will interact with unspliced people, i would love it if one of them was mark. Most people would just think he is just some guy, but all of us would be freaking out like "OMG!!! ITs Mark!!! Holy $*!T!!!! hahaha

The pac-man reference was just a wheel of cheese with a slice missing and about three bullet holes in front of the opening. So it looked like a yellow pac-man eating dots. I think it was in the wine shop.

if there are references to mark, roget, lynch or lutwidge I'll be more than satisfied but I have a feeling that anything more than just a casual reference
would feel.... artificial. call it a hunch but bioshock worked in perfect harmony with all the sum of it's parts and that is a very delicate balance and quite an act to follow. in theory I would love to see mark but the rational part of me is saying that you don't throw stones in a glass house...

It's been confirmed that there are people in Rapture who haven't spliced yet right? And that you will be able to influence them into doing it or not?

Well, if so then Mark HAS to be one of these people! Think about it, they can't be original Rapture residents can they? Nobody could survive for 10 years down there without juicing up.

I'm sure there are many ways to survive in Rapture without succumbing to ADAM. If under the influence of ADAM, you lose all rational thinking. I'm sure there are plenty of people there who may have stuck together and maybe farmed or whatever in order to survive.

I was lying awake last night thinking how they would end SitS, and i thought it would be so cool if after mark finds rapture, it shows a cool cutscene of mark descending in a bathysphere, making his way into rapture, and then coming face to face with Subject Delta, and then fading out. This would lead all of us to believe that mark is in the game somehow. And then in the final game, you get a radio message to go investigate someone new coming down the bathysphere and actually meet mark, and have to decide to help him find his daughter or to kill him. Just a thought lol

I agree with this. I think Mark's story is good, but I want Bioshock 2 to be exciting in and of itself without tie-ins I might overlook.
