    Jack's Ghost?

During your adventure in Rapture you bump into a couple of ghosts. Will Delta bump into Jack's ghost?

if by " ghosts " you mean the genetic memories/flashbacks then yes it
makes no sense to rule out a cameo appearance from jack.

That would be pretty cool to see in the game. I agree with Panda Rave though; if you've seen so many other "genetic memories" in the first Bioshock, why not in the second? :P

Could be very true, but that would mean we'd have to visit an area from the 1st game. I don't know if we do or not, though. Seems possible.

Sure, considering how much adam Jack was taking I'd bet he'd give off one heck of a ghost too. Hmmm, sence ghosts are given off via adam I wonder if you could see a Big-Daddy ghost, that'd be cool.

It's a possibility, myself personally while it isn't a ghost I've always thought it would be cool returning to Fort Frolic and seeing Jack's photos in Cohen's masterpiece (all be it degraded and falling apart) or something along those lines.

You know, I didn't even think of Jack leaving a ghost. :O I really hope Delta runs into one or two. Granted, Jack wasn't exactly the most talkative of guys, but he could well have left his signature somewhere recognisable like Ryan's office or the Fort Frolic atrium. (Gotta love the idea of the Masterpiece still being there, too.)

I'm hoping for Bioshock 2 to feature some extreme hallucinations.

Huge mind****s.....Bathyspheres leading to the surface being completely imaginary giving even more depth to Bioshock

Hopefully The ghost models will be updated as sometimes the ghosts seemed cheap and easy to miss..Non grey ghosts,Rooms becoming rebuilt for breif seconds etc

I think that it would be cool if pictures, shrines, posters, ect were used to show how Jack has affected Rapture even after he leaves. The makers of the game have already stated I believe that Jack has left a signifigant aftermath behind himself. You could probsbly find the interviews easy.

Im not sure where i saw it, one of the gameplay videos or something, but there is a room that has very large picture showing jack's wrists with the infamous tatoos holding an eve hypo. I think this was some sort of shrine to him. Very cool

Edit: Found the video. Warning, a few early game spoilers. The picture is at 1:42

Yeah I think in an interview I saw on the web said that Jack is becoming somewhat of a religeous factor in Rapture in Bioshock 2.

The splicers are split over it, some worship him all 'cult like' for saving them from Ryan. And others believe that by killing Ryan he plunged Rapture into this decrepit state were at rightnow.

I don't think you'd see a 'ghost' genetic memory of Jacks due to the simple fact that his adam was never recycled back into the supply by little sisters. Thus no one is going to be injecting any residual genetic matter of his while using adam available in rapture.

Ahhh, true. Never thought of this, but yea the only ghosts you see are those that died and had their adam extracted and recycled by little sisters

Well if they have "ghosts" of Jack then lets hope he doesn't have a voice. He didn't have much of a voice in the first game except painful ones. Maybe he will kind of show you hidden pathways here and there.

Not true, he had that mini-monologue in the VERY beginning of the game. I think it went "They told me, 'Son, you're going to do great things'. You know what? They were right." So we've already heard his voice.

Although Jack's genetic material has not been recycled into Rapture's system (as far as we know...) we would not see his direct genetic memories, but maybe we might see those of splicers who encountered Jack throughout Rapture; like, Steinman's genetic memory might show scenes of his fight. However, I feel that in Bioshock 1, the memory flashes existed to reveal plot points or to enrich the setting/history. Since we've all (hopefully) played Bioshock, we all know what happens to Jack so I don't see "ghosts" of him being all that interesting.

Damn you are right I forgot all about it. But still I think it would make things a little awkward. I always liked my voice to be the voice of Jack.

Which is precisely why they only made him talk during the segment that you had no control over. Although personally, I think it's cooler when your character talks, but that's a point of preference really.

ghost was a brilliant feature to add to the game makes not having many cut scenes not that noticable

I'd be curious to see major ghost flashbacks where Delta gets lost in them
