    Drill functionality without fuel?

I've been wondering what would happen if you run out of fuel for the drill, would you be unable to use the drill or would you only be unable to spin the drill but still smack splicers in the head with it as a slightly more effective melee than with a normal gun? Have any thoughts on this anyone?

Now I see this image of the drill slowing down a tiny red light comes on, and our poor protaganist looking for a usb port, or electrical outlet in Rapture. He then kicks back and has some tea while he awaits the re-charge.

You can still melee with any weapon, although its pretty weak.

the one element i didnt like about BS is the unrealistic life the splicers have later on, 7-15 shotgun blasts and still alive? geeze
and if its even more broke on BS 2 (melee with a drill and still getting up and fighting) oh man, im in for more frustration

I know for a fact that lawyers would find a way down there to enforce copyright infringement claims

From what I've gathered, the drill can be used to bludgeon as seen in previews or charged up for extra damage at the cost of fuel.

    Well, they were genetically modified...

The rivets make sense, as they're needed for the metal structures. I can't explain the hack darts, nor the harpoons.

I would imagine that you could melee given the wrench in the 1st game you always had as a backup. It's probably weak, though. Maybe they will allow certain tonics to go along with it like the freezing wrench tonic in the 1st one(forget the actual name). I liked the overheat aspect from the original videos better, but I think I like the challenge of the fuel version, too.

    (It's Frozen Field)

The tonic on the drill-thing is something I really like. But I don't think that there will be any for the drill, because what could you put on/in a metal drill? If the drill is connected with PBD's blood/genes/whatsoever it might be possible. The only avaible one will be Frozen Field (again) and I wouldn't like that, since I've used it sooooo many times in BS1.

But I just can't complain about BioShock. It's just to good
