I'm not surprised, there are several games that they have not added to their catalog, as of yet. I wouldn't get my hopes up. You're probably better off getting it from gamestop.com.

Its called a "limited run" for a reason. They're only making a certain number of these babies. I'm a little annoyed that (as of today) Canada still doesn't have it available for purchase.

you have another month or 2 to preorder, because i think preorder only becomes limited a month or so before the actual release date

These guys are crazy Total rip-off.

25 pounds for the standard Bioshock 2 PC edition and 70 pounds for the special edition? 3x more? When the US price difference is just $50 vs. $90?

I know Bioshock 2 is special but may no that special

I hope the offer will show up on UK Amazon. They are more reasonable with prices.

Play.com does not deliver to all EU countries, so...

Either it becomes available on UK Amazon or no purchase from me

    *For who's curious:
I have no idea :O With Bioshock 1 it took some time before the LE was available to buy in Holland..
I think eventually he'll be here too.. be patient
p.s. nice to see there's a Dutchman on the forum xD I knew I wasn't the only one!

Nope. I went in to my local EB Games and they still don't have it int heir system. Apparently its not in their location system OR in their country wide system. I think the best you can hope for is to ask them to put a preorder on the normal one and ask them to change it when they do get it. They said they've had some problems with SE's for other games (most notably being God of War 3 recently).

    Well 70 pound - 25 pounds = 45 pounds
    $90 - $ 50 = $40
so its not realy a rip off

If you factor in the current exchange rate of pounds to USD, it actually is a bit of a rip-off. You can't really compare the difference in prices of the two if their relation is through multiples.

70 pounds is equivalent to about $112 while 25 pounds is about $40. So, based on those prices, the special edition is a rip-off for them.

It's still not avaible for pre-order here! The normal version is pre-orderable but heck I don't want that one!

    I NEED THE LIMITED EDITION!

    Just wanted 2 say this

    Hello there people!

Uhm, I'm kinda new to this and I thought: let's post this here.

I missed the SE from BioShock1 (I wasn't a fan at that time, luckily a friend converted me lol) and now I'm crying because I don't have the Big Daddy figure.

BUT you can order a Big Daddy figure, one that is much bigger then the SE version (1,7pounds)! Just look around on amazon.com

Sorry if I upset you by posting this here, but don't cry now boyo.

Well if its avaible in the Netherlands, it'll be avaible in Germany.
However, I'm afraid it won't be.

But I will surely say it when it's avaible here! Are you gonna tell when it's avaible there?

I'm holding out until GAME in the UK release info on their Special Editions, they usually throw something extra in just to compete with other chains. Although i do remember a post/thread about the Australian GAME getting a free Little sister figurine?

For the PS3 edition it's not that bad. £40 for the game on it's own... or for an extra £30 you get the vinyl, the cd, three posters and the 160 odd page hardback book. For the PC version though they'd be robbing you blind :|

For British folks the special edition is £70 which works out as about $115... so of course we have to pay slightly more.

Just the BioShock 2 game on it's own is £40 (for PS3 and XBOX360, slightly less for PC)... so we have to pay £30 more for the special edition... which is about $50.

I don't think it's that unfair really, given that you get a vinyl record and that pretty hefty book!

So Germany has it, but Canada does not yet. Ergh... Starting to get a bit annoyed. (No offense to Germany, I'm just starting to get a bit worried about this :P)
