haha i dont know who that is but i am a prog fan...maybe not in the traditional sense. Though I should be looking into oldschool prog shouldn't I...
    zappa and whatnot.
my definition of prog would be more along the lines of ayreon, porcupine tree, freak kitchen, etc. More modern stuffs.

    edit:
oh oh and Camel. Mmmm. I loves me some Camel.

mmmm. Epic is my thing too. Prog is a great stage for creating massively epic stories out of melodies.

thats the entire ethic of what prog is,no restriction.
I can't stand conventional song format,I've made a bit of a name for myself by being different, but ALWAYS melodic!

Nice background The layout of myspace pages is what gets me. The template looks like something designed by a 10 year-old, which I guess makes sense because its a site geared to youth. I still haven't gotten any answer as to why I should make a myspace page that isn't easily countered.

    Myspace is the devil.

Facebook is better, although all networking sites in that vein are terrible plagues at the very least when dealing with facebook you won't come across black backgrounds, dark blue text, emo music and washed out photo's of 13 year olds in the most ridiculous of poses. I also haven't run into any nutcases ranting about the futility of life due to losing their iPod and having a bad day.

Too many An Heroes on myspace for me to tolerate it in the slightest.

lol. Facebook is just as bad imo...
They have these new features implemented where you can basically see every single thing someone is doing on the site. It's worse than stalking in some cases. It's creepy. I'ma stay away.

actually i designed it.. opacity is a thing of the past. i'm gunna change the colour scheme sometime, but the yellow thing is a good visibility for a mainly black background im 17!!! and anyone under 14 is not supposed to use myspace.

I'm talking about the way that a typical Myspace page lays its various sections out. It's too front-page heavy; poor design to have to scroll down to reach all the pertinent material that Myspace users are suppose to represent for themselves. There should be rollover expandable sections for the friends, music list, blog, and favorite stuff sections.

ah.. you mean like the kool php stuff that some sites have (eg: here) ?
If only i knew how.. but it seems myspace wasn't made to be anything other than front-page heavy, with a blog included on the side
