    Mmm...360 or PC? Wisdom Needed!

    Hey Party People-

Ok, I've been racking my little brain over the decision to get Bioshock for my PC or 360.

    Here is my PC:

    3.6 P4
    2-GB Ram
    256MB Nvidia GeForce 6800

    My 360 runs on a 50inch HD.

I'm leaning towards the 360...Comments? Thoughts? Flames? Or should I just break down and buy a 8800? 

I think u should get it for the 360, u dont have 2 worry about graphics settings or nvidia drives or lag, u have a 50inc TV, dude just get it on the 360

I'd seriously consider the 360 version, that is unless you really want to spring for an 8800. Your CPU is gonna be a bottleneck for that videocard though =).

This is coming from a big pc user as well. =) I think you'd enjoy the experience more on the 360.

360 all the way, what with a 50 inch hd. your graphics card wont compare to the 360 graphics.

I find gaming on the console to be easier, plus the ease of use of a controller is far more immersive than a mouse and keyboard for first person shooters in my opinion.

If it were me, (I am in same boat). Wait for the demo which releases tonight at 7pm and play it. See how it runs on your system, then play the 360 demo and decide for yourself.

I personally prefer gameplay on PC's to console, especially when they are FPS. But I am keeping an open mind on this one. I have the 360 Version reserved, but may be switching tonight, although I have a feeling my PC specs are bit above yours.

    AMD X2 4200+
    3.5GB RAM
    x1950PRO
    22" Widescreen Dell Moniter

I have my 360 on a 56" 1080P DLP, hooked into my stereo.

I think it will be a better game on PC because of the aiming problems on gamepads and needing auto-aim (personally I would rather aim myself). I suppose it depends if you want to spend the money for an 8800 (and whether your board has PCI-E). Also big HDTVs are great, but they probably occupy less of your vision than your monitor because you sit so much futher back with a TV.

The aiming problem on consoles issn't a big deal these days, i have no problems with the aiming on this game, and i find it easyer to play the game on the 360 because there is a easy weapon/ plasmid select option, besides the fact that the 360 will always run smoother unless u got a pc that most gamers want to merrie xD

Go for the 360 version, and normally I'd never say that, because for me playing FPS games with an analog stick is an abomination, a crime against nature, a... you get the point
However your graphics card won't be good enough, it's at the lower end of supported cards for this game, so you will most probably get a better experience on the 360, even without considering your insanely large TV

    How about....both.

Especially now that it looks like an editor will be coming out (or is on the retail version, already) for the PC version. You KNOW you wanna be able to play all that fan made content!

Well if you want to play on your big screen without slowdown go with the 360. If you don't mind a little slowdown and future mods for the game get it for the PC .

i have a 360 and i love it! i mean you can like play on the couch, you dont have a wired keyboard so you can go as far as you want, and just look at all the threads about the demo not working (ofcourse maybe they might need to wait for the 7pm drivers, but what do i know) yeah go 360, cuz i think its better

definitely get the 360 version and if you still feel addicted to the fel of a mouse and keyboard you can still use on your 360 with this

    http://secure.llamma.com/catalog/pro...roducts_id=751

its an adapter so that you can use your mouse an keyboard for only $70

i wouldnt even try an amazing game like BioShock on a single core processor.
the dual core gives it a smoother looking experience and with BioShock you want every bit you can get
