I think Mario should win just on principal, think about all the levels and castles the poor guy has been to only to be told the princess was in another castle. If it were me after two castles I would have said keep her.
my vote would go for jack from bioshock. i mean come on its a no brainer; plasmids, tonics, mass destruive weapons and the ability to not die haha casue of the vita chambers.
^I don't think Jack is even in the bracket. I voted for Ico and/or Wander but they're already out of the race. Sadly.
at this point I'm pulling for either Gordon Freeman, Or Duke Nukem.
Surprised Bub and Bob have lasted this long, I loved Bubble Bobble and Bust A Move but i didnt think they would beat out Samus

I can't believe Kratos is beating Cloud!!!!! FFVII is one of the greatest games ever created, FFVII:AC is an amazing movie, and Cloud was the best character in Dissidia! Cloud is awesome!!!! Go Cloud!!!!!

Snake is a grandpa, anyways. Freeman, on the other hand, doesn't age. I guess that's cheating though, cause of G-Man and his awesome stasis powers...
But that just means that Freeman auto-wins cause G-Man is a haxxor.
Gordon has 43 less votes than Snake, but so many people have voted that its averaging out at 50-50

Duke Nukem
I don't know who Duke Nukem or Ryu are, but I think Duke nukem looks like the guy from Comix Zone.
Duke is the coolest video game charecter of all time. The fact that he frequently talks, really helps his personality a lot. And talking is quite an achievment, considering that Duke Nukem 3D was released in 1996. The blockbuster FPS was so good, that even today players are buying it and enjoying it, and it has one of the biggest dedicated communities for an FPS that I have seen, to keep it updated and fresh.
Since you have a PC, you should get it!
I couldnt have said it better myself.. i think he is better than link but it doesnt look like he will make it past this round... Gordon will prolly make it thru this round tho. and honestly i could see him taking it all except there are a lot of Nintendo fan boys that will make sure either link or Mario win it all so at this point it is like how far will these characters make it b4 they get knocked out of the tourney.
Yeah. No way Mario is as cool as Duke...he doesnt even talk. Duke, with his brash and cocky attitude...very funny throught the game.
I just remembered something. If players like the Xbox 360, they released it for the 360 last year. Of course the graphics remain original, whereas if you get it from 3D Realms for the PC, you can download the high def pack and Eduke 32, and run it in todays modren graphics, switching it back to original 8 bit on the fly, anytime you wish.
I don't have a PC. I have a PS3.
So far it's looking like freeman, link, samus, and mario will be going on. That's just what I was hoping for.

Bust A Move is my Fave Arcade game. Also loved Bubble Bobble on the NES... I like Samus aswell but Bub and Bob are the Coolest!
