Exclamation Is Railroads! dead? Is it soon going to become a Firaxis Classic?

Is Railroads! ever getting any more stuff, or is it soon going to become a Firaxis Classic? What are your thoughts on this issue?

I really enjoyed this game; but I'm half tempted to never buy another sid meiers game ever again.

Well, Firaxis games are "games that stand the test of time" so we'll just have to see what happens... Personally, I wouldn't mind if it did become Firaxis Classic. Civilization Rev. is all they talk about now, so maybe they will have a little something for Railroads! once that game is finished. Not many of us saw the Take2/Firaxis aquisition coming, not to mention the long interval between the releases of Railroad Tycoon 3's v1.03 and v1.04 update, so there definitly is some possibility. Hey, if nothing else they should repackage Railroads! with the v1.1 update, Holiday Scenario, and original RR Tycoon game altogether on one disc!

Yeah, maybe, but Windows Vista support is quite important now days. I'd really like to see this happen and as I said before a new expansion pack. Do any of you remember that "Coast to Coast "expansion pack for Railroad Tycoon 3? I'd even be happy to see that ported to Railroads!

Yeah! More importantly, anyone remember how long it was after RRT3 came out before the expansion was released? During that time, there was all that new stuff in the works, but they were working on another project(which, I'm thinking turned out to be "Shattered Union") and they just acculminated all the content they started for RRT3, finished it, and released it all at once! Who knows! Maybe those Firaxis guys got some interesting new content up their sleves...
