Hi there, welcome to the forums. Basically the fiscal year is a company's bussiness year. All you need to know though is that BioShock 2 will be released sometime between 1 February 2010 and 30 June 2010.

Yes for us its Feb 1,2010-June 30,2010,but for the company its technically within the profits made for 2009.

Basically a fiscal year is a twelve month period in which the business calculates it's financial statements and determines it's financial standing.Fiscal years vary because some companies set their own fiscal years. Take-two's current fiscal year (Fiscal 2008) ends oct 31,2009 and fiscal 2009 starts i think on November 1,2009.

So to put it into perspective,a fiscal year is just a twelve month period where a company gauges how much profit it made in that period.Or like illusion said,it's like a business year.
