PS3 - Research Glitch ?

Hello, im currently right near the end of Bioshock and Ive fully researched the Houdini Splicer and Spider Splicer however I havent got the trophies.

I have just got the ps3 slim so i back up my harddrive and copied to the new one and now it seems I cant take pictures of these two splicers as it says they are complete yet as I say, no trophies, I have the rest and its driving me mad as I dont want to go through the game again to get them.

Is there a solution to this and is it a known glitch ?

I got that glitch before. Don't know if it was for the same reason, but I was told that if you have multiple save files of BioShock on your hard drive then some of the trophies will not be awarded to you. So I followed this advice by deleting all my save files, then starting over and I got the trophy!

The same may not apply for you though. I know you've been through this: but make 100% sure that you did indeed fully research all the subjects (security camera, security bot, turrets, spider splicer, nitro, houdini, thuggish, leadhead, rosie, bouncer, little sisters - I believe that's it). You'll know you've completed the research for a subject when you get three plus signs: +++

Thanks but, 'deleting all save files and starting over'isnt really a solution is it I do not want to start the game all over again !

I have fully researched the houdinis and spiders, it wont let me take any more pictures but i dont have the trophies

The plot thickens, I just took my last picture of a security camera and it gave me the researcher phd trophy for doing all the research but i still dont have the houdini and spider ones !

I was grabbing the last of the trophies and I got all the snapshot trophies except for the Research. I made sure to even take the bots and cameras and turrets and they've been maxed. So how the hell do I fix this glitch?!?!? It's holding my platinum trophy back!!!! >=I
