He blows me away on tech and is so far away from me that it is impossible to go after him. He has Galleons protecting him from my Galley unit drop. I settler out, but am limited to the land as he is harrasing me by the sea.
He gets literally every tech bonus. When I see him use a GS to tech Industrilazion, I know Oxford bombers arent far behind. I make a settler and walk him the long distance all the way across the board to empire. I sit it 2 sqares away from his city that doesn't appear to be substantial enough to defend with full force, but dont settle it.
Next turn, he completes Oxford. I settle the settler the same turn and build the longest road I have ever built (180ish gold), and roll every unit I have to it and barrage his city. I break through and am rewarded with Adv Flight. My bombers come out quicker than his and he quits. That is the first time I have been able to overcome the Oxford Bomber rush from another player.
