most developer at gamescom 2009 in Cologne has released a Line Up list. Maybe you can release a Line Up list for the upcoming Event. I know you show us only a gameplay Show and a TrailerI come Saturday at Cologne , how should I know what goes on for Mafia 2

Dont know, if 2K published a full lineup yet. But we know about their "over 18" booth-part.

Sport titles, Borderlands, BioShock 2 and Mafia II - all of this on GamesCom according to MCV's Digital Edition :-).
Mafia II is probably not to be presented to public, except for the new trailer. So, again, only journalists (hell yeah, I'm one of them this time, thanks Cenega Czech and 2K :-D ) will have their eyes directly on Mafia II.

Are they going to show us a new mission? I thought they should show us how things worked. I hope the mission don't spoil the story to much. I am looking forward to the trailer
same here, will be avoiding the media if another mission is on show.
I am Eager for news of any kind, so sue me. I do hope they will show more of the promised details to solve the jabbering about headlights, transmissions, hoods, trunks, convertible tops, windsheild wipers and the like. I think showing a missions with less spoilers is a given, but I hope It's set in the countryside to solve that question. Also I hope to see a different time period - say about 1950 in the middle of the game, that would give us some more cars. (for me to list color combos and find counterparts to!!!!!!)

There will be video footage for the public, live demo is behind closed doors.
The Room service mission is in the 50s I think. I hope as you say, that they will show us how things work and not spoil anything more

If I'm not mistaken Room Service was in the mid fifties (55-57?) judging by the cars. That makes It near the end. The 1945 mission would be in the begining. So I would hope for something In the middle or the game (so about 1950) hopefully showing more gameplay mechanics and more cars.
yeah dudes, cars !!! i pray that the driving sistem hasnt been "dummed" down, and made more arcadish... the driving in mafia 1 was sublime to say the least...

Wow three! Mafia II fanboys ownage, indeed ... this can never happen in BioShock community, they are lacking the "art of persuasion" and definitley do not have the "ties that bind" :-D

I was also planning to be there but i have a couple of exams coming up next week and i can't afford to miss them ... i hate the timing ... otherwise i would have definately gone there
When will we see Mafia 2 in GamesCom. I know its between 20-23 August, but do anyone know the exact date?
I belive it will be the same as with E3 - trailer hitting the internet the same day as the show begins and some gameplay footage will be a part of journalist coverage a bit later. But this is just my opinion, it's not based on any official statement

We are a community and if you could please post a thread (not a lot of threads like one or two) that would be really helpful for a update on Mafia 2 and hopefully there is a new video, trailer or gameplay online some time during/ after GamesCOM and if anyone finds it please tell me but dont post link
